Great oil extractor pump! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been using this pump for about a month now, and it works perfectly. It runs quietly and removes the oil quickly without any mess. I really like that there’s no need to lift the car or remove the drain plug — just insert the hose, connect the power, and it does the job. The body feels solid, hoses fit tight with no leaks, and it’s easy to clean afterward — I just run a bit of clean oil through it. Works great not only for cars but also for small engines like generators or boat motors. If you service multiple vehicles, this tool truly saves time and effort. Excellent value for the money — highly recommend.

Took this to the lake last weekend to change the oil in 5 of my engines. Warmed up the engines first to help with the extraction. This product worked awesome and it was faster than what I expected from the reviews! I also love that I don't have a vacuum repository that I need to reverse multiple times and empty back into 4 qt containers. I just pumped into two - 5 gallon Home Depot buckets and put this product back into it's container. No mess, not even a drop spilled.

Purchased this to service a 5r55s transmission but haven't been able to get to it yet, however I did use it for replacing the fluid/mercon 5 in the power steering pump and it worked perfect... Hope I can say the same for the trans service. It is of good quality and all the accessories to do the job contained in a case to keep everything together for the next job without losing pieces. This pump is made for OIL TYPE FLUID, NOT LIQUID /GAS/WATER... Use it however you want to.

This is an excellent pump. Super powerful. I own a marine repair shop and we deal with oil almost daily. I have used vacuum pumps in the past and this is a total game changer. There are features about this pump that set it apart from many cheaper options and is totally worth the extra money. There are also some definitive improvements they can make and i will list them which is why I snipped off a star. I have not been endorsed or received any benefit from this review. Its simply my hands on review and I own Socal Marine LLC. Firstly the kit does come with a dipstick insert tube - its very thin and the idea is to slip this down the dipstick tube to extract oil. This will drastically slow the process esp when the oil is cold only because the tube ID is so thin- however by drastic i mean it still pumps 10 times quicker than my old vacuum model! The speed is determnined by the INLET HOSE SIZE! I removed the quickconnect fititng and screwed in a 3/8 barb adapter, ground down the sharp barb edges for easy hose removal and used a firm wall 3/8 oil line (yes those soft clear tubes WILL compress - do not use these/soft hose on the in side!). Well heck this thing pumped about a gallon a minute of a mix of gear and engine oil- Now for the fun part - this pump is totally field repairable, what I mean is if you hit a jam like i did sucking up something other than oil, just pop off the top cover, remove gears and pin (it falls out easy), clean and re-assemble and you are off to the races again. Remember the small gear goes down groove first to seat over the small pin. This has a steel gear much like a chevy oil pump and it will last FOREVER unless you pump sand with it. It has very tight tolerances and works incredibly well. One thing i noticed after removing top cap to clear an obstruction (looked like teflon tape got in there), was I had to leave the 3 screws slightly loose and let it run slowly tightening the screws - if you reassemble and just tighten the screws you will likely just lock the gear- so tighten the screws slowly while the pump is running and untighten if it jams up then gently continue snugging them till it stays running with all 3 snug. It also primed INSTANTLY from a dead vertical drop if 3 feet- and instantly spurted oil out the clear tube which threw oil everywhere. The stupid plastic clip they provide doesnt even fit the tube in the kit! No reverse option but I might swap out the switch since its a DC motor, and also no strainer like in other kits. Also - the case is WAY too tight, once you have added 5/16 and 3/8 lines, its impossible to close. Also - the clip sucks and there are no p;ugs for the clear tube far as i can tell. Overall I am keeping this because i dont like returning used items based on small dislikes- everyone is trying to get by here and I dont need to return funtioning equipment putting a jam in their progress. Pros: Pumps like a monster - 1 gal / minute with a 3/8 inlet Very power pump Pump is QUIET! Nice length of wires and decent clips Case is nice Standard NPT threads for custom hose/fitting options Field servicable - easy to remove/reassemble and continue on Cons: No inlet screen filter Case is too small No reverse option Blue clip does not fit outlet hose at all spraying oil everywhere I am very happy and hope this pump lasts a while.

Only removed 3 quarts of oil via the dipstick tube from my 05 f150. I had to use the drain plug yo get the rest out in order to do a proper oil change. Also, the 1/4 tube got stuck and I had to pull hard as I could you remove it. The Harpy get so hot you can't even touch it, the larger soft outlet hose kinks so you have to have it all perfect in order to get anything to flow. Honestly you're better off just making sure you have drain plugs in your transmission pan. Oil pan etc and using those for an old fashioned oil drain, so you know you are getting all the fluid out. I'm leaving the 1 star review a d will change it as I continue to try it for transmission fluid, oil changes in several vehicles. My first use of this product told me it's more trouble than its worth. Seems we'll made but it doesn't matter if I can't actually get the fluid out to save you from having to use the drain plug. You could just use it for power steering, brake fluid reservoir changes, but you can also just use a turkey baster from dollar general for $3

Excellent. Used it on a 2012 Volvo S60. Easy to connect. This pump makes changing oil so much easier. It helps you do it quickly, cleanly, and independently. Comes in a plastic case. I recommend it.
