One of the best mass gainers and tastes great
I've been using protein powders and weight gainers for decades. Weight gain powders are often filled with low-quality ingredients to get as many calories into the product. Dymatize has a good reputation for quality products and this one seems to be good quality. This product has 1,280 calories, 245g of Carbs and 52g of Protein per serving (2-1/2 cups or about 5 scoops). Maltodextrin is the first ingredient for the carbs. Contains a protein blend of whey concentrate, milk isolate, whey isolate, whey hydrolysate and micellar casein. Does not have a great source of fat (sunflower oil) and only 10g so I add MCT oil to every shake. Outside of these mentioned ingredients, there's not much else (all other ingredients are less than 2%). The vitamin profile is ok, but should not rely on this product for anything more than protein and carbs. The vanilla flavor tastes amazing. If you are looking to add some significant calories to your diet, this product is a very good choice. Recommended.

Miracle worker
The last 6+ months has been a rollercoaster in my life. So in response I haven't been eating right. And my body started to slowly deplete. I was running out of energy, my body was constantly sore and I was losing weight. I was losing my appetite and not eat as I should. I was having more headaches and rapid heart beats. I thought maybe my vitamin D levels are low again and startes taking one high dose pill every week. Seemed to help but still wasn't feeling well. Something had to change. My job is highly physical also, so my body finally crashed one day and I couldn't function or leave my bed. That's when I came across this stuff! I needed the high protein and carbs. This stuff has both plus the vitamins and minerals that are essential. I've been drinking it twice a day (morning I mix with oat milk and evening I mix with whole milk) I can't begin to tell you how great this stuff has made me feel! It's given me back almost every ounce of energy and my body isn't sore or tired anymore! It's stimulate my appetite and my skin is looking so so much better! I highly recommend this stuff if you're going through something similar like me. It also taste great and mixes very well. It's worked wonders for me in the first week alone that I know Ive taken off in my goal to take better care of my body and gain the weight back with something that is healthy for me to consume. Thank you mass gainier!

It works and you will gain weight that is a fact. I’ve been using this product for years mixes good and smells and taste great. The only thing now is it’s getting expensive. Last time I paid 50$ was in 2020.

Vanilla Hits Different
I've tried the chocolate, and the vanilla. I prefer the vanilla (and I'm a chocolate person). The vanilla just tastes better, like a lighter version of a McDonald's vanilla shake, if mixed with milk. This helped me to gain 1lb a week, along with regular meals. I've gained 8 lbs in 8 weeks. I use half a serving though, since a full serving leaves me feeling bloated and lethargic, and I add 1 scoop of protein powder. I drink the shake during my workout and chug the rest after I'm finished. I'm not sure if it's supposed to have this next effect, but I feel like on days that I don't have one, my workouts feel harder, and not in a good way. Hope this helps!

After Cancer and Radiation, this one works. Check with your doctor first if your like me.
This stuff is nearly perfect for my needs. In the past year I have battled cancer and now am battling the negative effects from radiation treatments and this is the only thing I have found which has added any weight back onto my shrunken frame. After losing nearly 70 pounds due to stage 4 cancer and then the combination of radiation with chemo treatments it has reset my biological clock. The doctors told me it was literally as if they pushed my Reset Button and I now burn over double, in some cases triple over normal. - Warning - At first I was limited and prohibited from taking anything with whey due to chemical interactions. Whey or whey byproducts can interact with the chemo treatments and have a strong negative impact with the Chemo Treatments so it is important to check with your doctors and a medical nutritionist for what is or is not allowed medically, I was limited to using only a medically approved supplement (Benecalorie - which I also purchased through Amazon) with no whey but it only has 330 calories per serving, not nearly enough to build up again and not even close to what my body is now demanding. When I was younger I did some limited body building but enough to learn a good deal and loved it so I had a bit more knowledge then the average guy. If you’re serious about using this type of gainer find a bodybuilder and learn from them. A serious bodybuilder is a very educated person with a wealth of knowledge on nutrition, biology, certain chemistry and of course the human body, they know what they are talking about and it takes years to learn this stuff properly – and then apply it. Supplements like this come into play because it can be nearly humanly impossible to eat the amount of calories I now need in order to not only sustain my weight but then try to gain weight (without harming my body or eating all junk) and this product allows me to do that. You would need to eat an entire beef roast + 3 dozen eggs every day just to get close to the 4,500 calories I now need, try doing that every day and let me know how it goes. The average lean Steak, Fillet ranges from only 50 to maybe 150 calories depending on the cut, (can you eat 40+ steaks per day? I can’t) then you need to take into account the Cholesterol, Sodium, Calcium, Potassium and so on… with this product it’s all done for you. Depending on if you use whole milk, skimmed milk or water as a mix is what guides the level of caloric intake per serving (check the label). After you add the cost of all the food, then you have to cook all of it, you’ll soon find this is much cheaper and a lot less preparation time. This stuff isn’t for everyone, clearly it is for people that want to add mass and it is not a supplement like a One A Day vitamin but rather it’s a serious MASS gainer and I can tell you it works. I went from looking like a World War 2 prisoner of war (we’ve all seen those old photos, that was me) and now I am actually building back up and starting to look normal again. I have put on over 10 pounds in about 15 days and kept it on, this is an unusual rate but in my case its acceptable and it will taper off as I progress. With other things I tried I would gain and loose it just as fast, this allows me to stay at my weight. Additionally I can feel my strength coming back too, for now I am doing isometric exercise but hope to go back to isotonic fairly soon with this rate of gain. The point is my muscles have fuel to work with now plus I am gaining weight, this is the best mix I can hope for. I give it 5 Stars and Two Thumbs Up. Really Good Stuff.

It's tasty and nutritious.
Nice flava and thick. Can mix with other stuff to augment even more calories but it's decent on it's own. It taste good on it's own.
