I like this item a lot, seems heavy enough to know it's there. Turned out to be one of my fav accessory now.Upon reading the reviews, people say the chain busted, or it's not what they expected in chain length, which is an easy solution to solve, if that's the problem, get you a different chain, I bought a heavier one that's to my preferred length and diameter, it will turn out one if you favorites too, I guarantee you.If you or the person you're getting it for likes this style anyways, customize it with your specific chain, and length, I hope that helps.It really is a cool looking piece and a good size tooI got myself a shorter chain almost choker length but not quite, just to my chest area...Hope I helped at least somebody in deciding to buy it.

LIKE: Quality precision parts and mirror polish. Delivery was about two weeks. Attractive gift box. Personalized engraving, which is the very shallow and dark etched type.DISLIKE: The bail is triangular, and narrows, so be cautious with choosing the letters for the engraving, if choosing 4 or 5 letter words that end with descenders, like g, p, y. For example, "Suzy" or "Doug" will have the "y" or "g" approach the edge of the bail, and appear off centered. However, you have to look three, or four times, to notice this. To avoid this, choose 2 or 3 upper case letters, or 4 or 5 words without descenders.

Not much to say. The packaging was well done and the necklace is nice and sturdy. The only thing I can complain about is that with these types of products at this price, it's not going to be fully painted at every nook and cranny. When you turn the gears, you'll see some spots of silver of where the gears cover at first. I was upset but it's not like I paid super high money for it, so it's reasonable enough. I wear it all the time and have never taken it off since I got it. I shower with it on and it seems to be all right. Overall, it's my current favorite necklace.

I bought this as a gift for my son. It looks very much like a brass one I've had for years that he really likes. Jewelry can sometimes be an iffy gift for a man, although that's changed a bit (the description says it is for either a man or a woman). I like it because it's unusual and interesting. Thee abacus is ancient and I learned how to use one when I was a kid. I was fascinated watching people that were really good at it beat adding machines. It's a very beautiful necklace and my son is very happy with it. When I buy a gift I usually put a bit of thought into it. I want the person to really like and enjoy their gift and I also want it to have some meaning. I know that's a lot.This time I didn't need to, it was all of those things and I just knew it was the perfect gift!

A wee geared dog tag to make my srmteampunk heart happy. Got this for my birthday, because it fell in our price range and I thought it was cool. It is very solid, the chain feels freay and I absolute love the gears. It is quite striking, my mom mentioned several times how much she liked it! And she is not anhuge fan of ky steampunk love ;)I was slightly surprised at the size, smaller than an issued dog tag, but with the weight and thinkness I thinknit works well!

This pendant is great! There's a little weight to it as if it's a more quality piece than the price suggests. It looks well made. It beat my expectations. It's a unique and cool pendant. There were no flaws in the pendant I received. If I could get it in red, white or a matte black (the finish is glossy), I would order more. As a matter of fact, I'm going to order one more just in case I lose or break this one. I want it as a permanent piece to my collection.

This was a Christmas purchase for my grandson, who is 18. He loved it! The quality was very good. It looks like an expensive piece, especially with the engraving of our last name (which was free!). It turned out to be a very special gift that he'll have for a long time. I am very pleased and will be shopping for other pieces. Oh, and delivery came in before the promised date. A win all the way!

Chain is very cool and the gears spin a bit which is nice cause I tend to fidget with my necklaces a lot. It's a bit smaller than I expected, just a bit shorter than a usb stick but similar width. I really like it. Nice weight and design idea. (Not just for men by the way)

Beautiful sturdy pendant. The material in the black coating over the stainless steel, however, left a rash when worn. If I had known the plating composite would have caused a reaction I would have ordered the uncoated stainless steel version.

It looks great, has a good weight to it but I was hoping it was a few centimeters larger in life... but it's still a good looking piece and shows well

Im not big on this piece as it is kinda bulky and even had some unpainted silver spots. Good thing i found a cool use for the cheezy chain or i might have returned this.
