A very beautiful and informative book which offers kids the fundamentals for bird watching. It embraces not only what you need but what you should look at when bird watching.

I thought this would be for beginners, but since it doesn’t have photos to help identify the birds, it’s limited to those who know what they’re seeing and simply want to document it.

This journal is exactly what we were looking for. It’s simple, well-designed, and has plenty of space for kids to record their bird sightings. The prompts are engaging, and the bird species information is easy to follow. It’s a perfect tool for young bird watchers to start exploring and learning. Everything was as promised, and it’s been a wonderful addition to our nature walks.

The book includes 100 pages for bird enthusiasts to record their experiences from birdwatching. The book starts with engaging information and designs on what kind of toolkit usually bird watchers take with themselves, what are the birds' field mark, the anatomy of the bird, and some fun facts. After that it includes the journaling part where children can include the date, the type of bird noticed, its characteristics, if it sang and other info on where the individual has seen it. In addition, there are spaces included to include photos/ pictures, take sketches and also some relaxing coloring pages. Overall, the book is a great tool for children and anyone who love birds.

If you have a budding bird enthusiast (or need an activity for a kid being forced to tag along a bird-watching excursion), this journal is just the thing. It's lovely and has some great information about bird watching in addition to lots of pages to record their own observations. Highly recommend!

Very disappointed in this book. Not a single picture of a bird in the entire book. Someone described this book as “colorful”. There is nothing colorful about this black and white book. 24 of the pages are exactly the same, and the other pages are weird sketches that have nothing to do with birds.

The media could not be loaded. A little disappointed, I read reviews. I had several other options in my cart but based on the reviews this one felt like I was hitting it out of the park. It's very basic. Not sure what the "activities" are really. It's just a very basic log book where the pages are so thin the text/pictures show through so easily.
