Hard to work with, but looks fantastic when you get it right
Out the packet this is much more difficult to work with than silver clays. It dries very quickly, and is fairly dry when you get it, so adding water is recommended. I found that it cracks very easily before it is fired, so making delicate objects such as rings is very difficult. It also cracks if fired too quickly, so this needs to be heated steadily. It is harder to see visually when it is ready than with silver, and you must drop it in water straight away as it oxidises in the heat.But, if you get it right and clean it up, it looks incredible. The saving grace of it being difficult to work, is that it is fairly cheap in comparison, and the end result arguably looks better than silver.

Wrong information!
I work with metals, ie, I smelt as well as melt different metals to cast, the old way. using this bronze clay was not only more difficult to work with, but after firing, the piece crumbled in my hand like a biscuit!
