Excellent book. A true gem among Mark's work. I found this book inspiring, uplifting and meaningful on a very deep level. Thank you, Mark (yet again).

Mark's open and honest sharing of his thoughts and life experiences is absolutely inspiring! What quickly takes me to the deep end though, is his masterful and spell binding use of words which "paint" portals into spaces beyond routine thinking. Not only does his artistry "paint" the doorway and invite entry, through his penetrating questions, you can sense him humbly walking alongside willing to compare notes with you all along the way. I'm grateful for the stroke of grace which brought me to this most welcomed return to the deep each time I dive into any portion of it. Thank you Mark! From this book.... I really enjoyed his book, The Book of Awakening. While The one Life We're Given provides interesting reading, it has not been as helpful to me at ...Awakening.

"The One Life We're Given" offers a road map into a consciousness that allows the reader to glimpse what it looks like to be One with All that is and to experience a sense of why we have come here in this lifetime. A wordsmith that paints pictures with his poetic prose.

Just the book I needed to read. For anyone going through a crisis or feeling of inadequacy, this is the book. Definitely, eye opening! I bought 1 for my friend whom recently lost her husband.

This is a positive, real, and effective book for creating and living a rich, loving, connected life, honoring others and yourself.

My favorite book of Mark's. His descriptive metaphorical narrative grabs me hard. I need to re-read sometimes more than twice to really gain understanding. But it's worth it. He does go to the deep end which I don't experience much. My goal (and dream) is to be able to attend his on-site programs one day. I'm recommending this jewel to anyone who will listen!
