Buddy Splash Spritzer & Conditioner for Dog Grooming, Lavender & Mint, 4 Oz. Bottle

The product I bought was Lavender Mint. I think that's a pretty generous description. Yes, it smells better than dog smell, but it smells a bit medicinal and not much like lavender or mint. It smells like a cleaning product. The sprayer, at least the one I received, seems to be poor quality. When I spray it the contents tend to drip down the side of the bottle and onto the floor in addition to the mist being sprayed. It's a bit of a mess to work with. I think the "conditioning" properties are a bit overstated as well. It's no easier to comb through our dog's hair after the conditioner has been applied. It's not a detangler. Update 2 hrs after use: I applied 2 pumps of spray to my dog. The smell as it has settled in smells even worse. My kids were like, what did she get into? We need to give her a bath. This may or may not be related, but the dog puked about 30 minutes after I put on the spray. It did not get in her eyes, nose, mouth or anything like that. Maybe she licked it? Maybe she hates the smell that bad too? Not sure. May not be related, but it's the first time my dog has ever puked. I'm returning the product.

Love this brand. Clean ingredients and a smell that nice but light so it doesn’t make you sick. My dog feels and smells clean for days after ysing these products. I have shampoo conditioner and detangler and spritz all from this brand. Def my favorite. My dog is a Whoodle Shih Tzu mix so this is great for even his albaca style wooly coat. ❤️

personally, i love the leave in conditioner spray. i love the smell, i love how it makes my dog all soft and clean looking and i love how long it lasts! however, i did make the mistake of using thpe green tea bergamot one around my mom (she gets headached and asthma from candles, perfumes, etc) and the poor woman nearly had an asthma attack! it wasn't an allergic reaction, the smell was just too intense for her. so, in short, it's a great product but if you or your loved ones are going to have an issue with the scent, either look elsewhere or make sure you can spray it outdoors and let your dog "air out" a little.

I followed the instructions exactly and it smells great! My dog smells like lavender for probably the first day or so and after that, the scent goes away. I live in an area that rains a lot so that might be the reason that it washes off. My dog also has very sensitive skin (environmental allergies) so I sprayed it on his belly when I first got it to see if he would have any allergic reaction, but after a few days there was nothing so I proceeded with use the product regularly.

I got this product in my grooming kit for school. The title of the smell is not normally something I would consider a smell I like but i absolutely love the way this smells. I use it on my clients dogs but it never lasts long enough for them to get out the door and home to their owner. I wish this company made more product wise because I would still buy it or if there was even a dupe I would buy .Now I use it more like a conditioner sprtiz as it’s labeled instead of cologne.

We love this product for our crazy labradoodle puppy who LOVES the lake, ponds, and any other smelly body of water. We brush it in after she dries and it makes her coat shiny and smells light and fresh without needing a bath! I would recommend spraying it on outside or wiping it up right away after use.
