Did nothing for my hair. Not enough hold.

I use this product in my hair for hold and to prevent frizz. My hair loves frizz, so I needed a gel that did not have glycerin. (glycerin pulls the moisture out of the air which is good for some, but a nightmare for me. ). This product works well in my opinion, but it is very strong so use sparingly. I have read other reviews that complaint about residue, I think that may have come from using to much product, DON"T USE A LOT! This is so potent that I only use a little at a time; personal, I had this bottle for 6 mo. and that was with washing my 3c/4a kinky waves twice a week. I also suggest that you use a light conditioner (I have used several; deva curl supreme cream, Camille rose naturals twisting butter and leave in) so that you have less crunch cause otherwise your hair will be as hard as a brick.strength= 10. The hold on this ain't no joke!longevity= a week or more if you pineapple at nightsmell= not very strong (which is what I like)performance= goodcost effectiveness= not that great. This stuff is expensive and their are other products out there that cost less and work just as well.Overall: I will buy this product again

I bought this item as a gift and the child loved it!!!!

This product didn't perform as well as it was shown. It had a very strong scent of alcohol and my hair was very stiff after it dried.

I’m a 4c. Did not curl my hair at all!

I have hair that's medium in thickness and is slightly wavy (2A for those familiar with curly terms). I ordered this as a sample from the curljunkie website to see if (hopefully) this product would give my hair more definition with no crunch.This product really didn't do anything for my hair that Curl Junkie's Smoothing Lotion couldn't do. Yes, it did make my hair soft and the product smells wonderful but that's as far as it went for me. This product didn't give any definition to my waves. Bright side is that the product didn't produce anything negative like dryness or frizziness.I would suggest you go to CurlJunkie's website and buy their styling products sample set before you spend $20-30 on this single product. With the CurlJankie sample pack you can try 7 of CJ's styling products for $12.00 + shipping. Still pricy but better than spending 20 dollars on a single product just to be disappointed.
