Better quality that the orginal
My washing machine started making a racket when spinning a heavy load. A bit of diagnosis showed it to be the two drum suspension shock absorber legs had worn out.Finding suitable replacements was not straightforward as over the years the part numbers have changed as the machine manufacturer has changed and improved this fitting. You will need to do your homework before ordering. When the shipment arrived, I was disappointed to find there was only one leg in the packet but another was promptly sent out after I contacted the supplier, well done. The quality and robustness of the leg is defiantly better than the original.Just be aware that it is a bit of a tricky DIY job as the original legs have to be carefully drilled out. YouTube is your friend though, there a couple of excellent videos that explain the procedure.Overall, a good quality part at a reasonable price backed up by excellent service. To be recommended.

Well they fit, and certainly work.. but..
Agree with other reviewers - the enclosed instructions are impossible to understand!YouTube revealed a video someone had taken of drilling out the original plastic pin to make a hole for the new one to fit into.More.. the original pins are part of the moulding of the outer drum and have to be cut out.To do this:- I cut off the old damper as close to the drum as possible - that gave easy access to the securing pin down the side of the damper rubber mounting bush.- Cut the pin between the bush and mounting bracket with the help of a Dremel and a 2" circular saw blade.- Drilled a small hole through the exposed part of the pin as close to the drum bracket as poss, inserted a nail and levered the old pin out. Youtube video showed someone fighting it to pull it out - levering it is far easier. Remove the remaining bit of the old damper.- Hand drilled (a faff) back through the remaining pin using 3 drills - small, medium and finally a size a fraction smaller than the new pin - which is split to allow a bit of compression into a smaller hole resulting in a snug fit.- fitted bottom of new damper and pushed new pin in - it locks on the protruding end when pushed in far enough.Job done - and a far quieter washing machine no longer jumping round the floor!
