I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis for a long time and even wearing insoles in my shoes didn’t really make much difference. I was starting to experience pain in my knees as well as my feet due to the way I was walking. Walking is a big part of my life and the only way I could help the plantar fasciitis was to rest - not an option with a dog! I was unsure about the thumper as I couldn’t really see anything about it helping plantar fasciitis apart from one review. However I think and I hope that this little machine is all I need to make a full recovery and to maintain good foot care. I have been using it for an hour everyday on my feet , calves , thighs and lower back . All the tightness of overused muscles now feel light and touch wood my feet are pain free. If I have to use it everyday for life to maintain I will . Anyone suffering from plantar fasciitis will know the pain and temporary disablement it causes. The thumper is expensive but for me it is money well spent.

This is a third purchase as love this machine so much. It gets used every day for up to a couple of hours (total) by two of us. First machine died after about 5 years and could not get spares, second machine lasted about 3 years and then foot pads broke up, and after being without it for over 6 months, I decided to get another one. Needless to say, we are enjoying using it every day again. We have tried many other massages over the years and this one is the best for feet. (We also have a mini Thumper which we will be replacing soon as it is over 15 years old and beginning to not work as well.)

I cannot speak highly enough of this massager. I am a fitness instructor in my fifties teaching 9 or 10 classes per week. I was introduced to the Thumper Versa Pro on a training course by the course leader who had brought his machine along. I bought one straight away and started using it after every class. I can honestly say I would not be able to keep teaching as many classes without it. I have recommended it to all my instructor friends!

I have been suffering for too long with Plantar Fasciitis. I bought the massager after receiving some treatment and the physio used one on me. It’s a awesome machine and is helping with my problem.After 2-1/2 months the massager became very noisy so I contacted Active life who responded in less than 24 hours and arranged for the machine to be replaced. Great machine and a great service. Hope the new machine lasts.

Worked just a year(one user). Did the job, excellent the first year- then gone. Would not buy again for just one year

I've had the Thumper Sport (hand held version) for about 2 years, and now I've had the Versa Pro (for feet and lower body) for a few months. I love them both, and use them both on a regular basis.I use the Thumper Sport for back, legs and feet, and it is by far the bast handheld massager out of the many that I have tried.My husband was having pain in his feet, and has poor circulation issues, so I bought the Thumper Versa Pro for him. We keep it on the floor of our living room, and our whole family uses it every day. We just sit in an office chair, and put our feet on it. The actual functionality of it is great. You can turn it on with your feet, or you can use the remote. I like the remote, but my children and husband tend to drop it, as it has a cord, and isn't super long. The cord stretches, and I'm fine with it, but I thought I'd mention it for their sakes.It has 6 settings, basically just low- high. It changes how quickly the pads bump back and forth. Then it has I think 7 auto settings. When you select one, it's a pre-programmed increase and decrease in speed. For example one goes from high to off then high to off, etc. Some gradually go up and down. All 7 are different.My husband has gotten a lot of pain relief from it, and even those of us in the house without foot trouble enjoy a nice massage at the end of any day on our feet. Once my husband woke up in the night with a bad leg cramp, and I just had him run (hobble) over to the Versa Pro, and the massage to the feet was enough to get his circulation going and stop the cramp.I've tried using it on my legs, and yes, it does work, but I have to sit on the floor, in a slightly awkward position, so for leg massages, I just use the Thumper Sport.The purple pads are easy to remove, and rinse in soapy water. Then they just press back on.To describe the feeling of the massager, it is like a fast vibration. The pads themselves don't shake, they go up and down. The best way I can describe the motion, is like the pedal to an old sewing machine. They alternate going up and down, but fast enough to feel like vibration. It like getting a massage from a person who uses their fist or palm to punch in the same spot, but way faster.It does not hurt, because how hard you push on the machine is up to you. If you want a deeper massage, say in the middle of your foot, you just move that part of your foot higher so it's at the top of the purple pad, and press as hard as you feel good with.I'll stop there, but overall, very happy with the purchase, and my husband has thanked me like 10 times for buying it. Well made, durable, and worth the money.

I was first exposed to this product in the waiting room of a massage therapist. It was so soothing to use. When I found it on Amazon, I was surprised and pleased that I could reproduce that effect at home. It has many settings from which to choose. I like to cycle through all of them, then sit back and let the effect sink in. I have neuropathy and am glad that I have this product to stimulate sensation in my feet.
