These fans have soft “blades” that spin to keep flies away from you while trying to enjoy time outdoors. It is also equipped with sensors that will stop the blades if there is something near them or stuck in them to prevent injury. I feel like this function is super helpful, especially with small kids who may want to touch the blades. It requires batteries which is a plus in the sense that you don’t have to worry about running wires to plug it in and it is more portable. It is a nice simple, yet effective design and we are very happy with them.

Not working, cheap quality

I was going to a family picnic and dreaded it because they have chickens. Not that I don’t like chickens, it’s just that with chickens you have flies. The week before the picnic I went to a friends house for a picnic and they had these fans out and we had no problems with flies or bees. I ended up buying these fans for a hostess gift. They loved them and they worked perfectly.

Came today and when opened box neither fan worked. Replaced batteries and nothing. couple of light taps with hand and they started. Hope this isn't something that will happen in future when warranty expires! So 3 stars is the most I can give

I was a little skeptical at first but we used these on mothers day while eating out on the deck. Flies were starting to be a nuisance until we put these out. No smell, very quiet and the battery lasted throughout dinner.

The fans work as described. Flies do not like them.

It works well and is very quiet. Stays charged for a long time.
