MM4350DFC Portable Generator, Orange

I was skeptical when ordered because made in China but quite surprised when it was delivered.All around frame and parts include wheel kit and steel fuel tank are very sturdy compared to other Coleman 6500/5000w and Troy Bilt 8550/5550W generators owned.The first time operation and switching from propane gas to gasoline was very smooth and powerful.Also, quick responding from customer service that contacted for reporting the error pop up for warranty registration process through online.After sent an email, they called and sent back email in hour and resolved right a way.It made me quite impressed.However, no dust covers for outlets, no main breaker and no hour meter on generator make negative judgments.Those things are minor but very helpful to the consumers.Time will tell how it is going on.But still willing to give 5 star for now.

Hooked it to a propane tank after 5 or 6 pulls turned the fuel switch on, first pull started right up. With propane I thought that switch didn't need to be on. I only brought the chock halfway back and it ran super smooth, all the way open not so smooth. I like the idea of propane, turn the tank off, the generator stops almost instantly and I know there's no fuel left in the carburetor so hopefully it won't get clogged up so soon. So no complaints at this time

I bought this as a back up generator to two Honda inverter genx I have used for 6 years. We carried this to our camp in Mexico before opening and turning it on. No time to start before we left on our extended 3 month trip. First time we tried to start this, before we even pulled the starter cord there was gas leaking out of the enclosure. We tried starting anyway and no spark.We dragged it to an excellent mechanic 30 miles away. He found that a rubber gasket in the carburetor or gas filter was pinched as the part was screwed in place during fabrication. Thus the leak. The non-starting was caused by two wires having the leads crossed during fabrication and assembly.Two stars simply because after we paid out the $50 in labor the generator seems to be a nice machine. We have barely run it 3 hours so far. This is too early to judge overall longevity and quality. I give myself 1 star for buying an inexpensive machine and then carrying it 500 miles into Mexico without first running it for a while!Review after extended use:After running 2 hours every morning for two months plus ten days at 8 hours daily it is still going strong. Still give 1 star because cost of repairs in USA would have exceeded the purchase price. Two different manufacturing assembly errors made this useless if bought in an emergency situation.

Planning on taking a camping trip, but the group camp sites are closed again due to COVID-19. We have to change our adventure to be in the backyard. We got the generator right before Independence weekend and unboxed it to check the product. Actually well packed and a VERY nice looking machine with my favorite orange color!Added oil and gas and it fired right up. Hooked up a power strip and plugged my laptop, 2 iphones, and kids tablet, and it didn't even blink. Quiet enough too that I doubt my neighbors can even hear it through our fence. Consider me nicely surprised!We can't wait for our next camping trip to use this generator and share it with our camping friends.

Bought this Mech Marvels 9000watt generator for 2 reasons: It was a great deal at just over $800 when all was said and done, and it has a 4 prong 240V outlet and I plan on wiring it in to backup my house. I will say that the delivery process was a P.I.A.! I ordered nearly a month ago. Amazon scheduled and changed delivery on me a couple of times. I was ready to cancel the order, but they finally stuck to it and got it delivered this past weekend.Now that I have it, this thing is pretty cool. It weighs a ton, but I was expecting that. What I wasn't expecting was how well thought out it is. This thing was double boxed, so I had to cut the box apart to get it out. I put the wheels on by shoving a couple of boards under the frame. Once those were in place I realized this had a foot step, so I just folded up the handle (nice!), and tipped it back and had the other half help me get the front feet in place. Now it's easy to move around the garage and get over to the side of the house near the breaker box.This thing has warnings all over it about adding oil. I added nearly a quart to it (you can't miss the dipstick cause they put a big tag on it), and grabbed my propane tank from the grill. Was easy to start once I realized I had to switch the yellow valve over, just pushed the starter button and it cranked right up! Now all I have to do is get the electrician out to wire up the house…

Fast shipping and a great unit!

My son and I was surprised it came a day early so two stars for that, very easy to remove from box, set up was so simple even sent a funnel for the needed oil so two more stars. We got it because it was able to use propane gas we has a tank almost full but no way to connect it to gen, it had a sheet that showed a 5 foot hose that should be with it. We could not find a hose in the packing anywhere, there went three stars. There was only one place left to look, that was between the gas tank and the motor sure enough there it was back came the three stars. The big moment has came after adding oil. We pulled and pulled and it would not even hit so it again lost the three stars, then we saw it to the right side of pull rope, a big ass turn switch saying fuel on and off. Once on one pull and it started. Not only did it get it's three stars back we added one to make it five. We had bought it to use on our job and will get back with performances. 6/6/21 I'm back taking away two stars Saturday the first run the choke broke won't start left us stranded, I'll not buy another.
