Comfortableness completely improved my motorcycle ride!
I bought this pad in 2023 shortly after I bought my 1st bike, a Honda Rebel. However, the gel pad then sat in the garage and I never installed it. So, for 2 years my butt would be sore after riding around locally for an hour or two. Well, it's now 2025, and before hubby and I towed our motorcycles behind our RV up to Grand Teton National Park this past week, we dug out the gel pad and installed it on my bike. We used the bikes to do our touring for 5 long days in a row, and let me tell you, I was super comfortable the whole time! In fact, the added seat height made my overall bike ergonomics better for my 5'4" frame. I'm now kicking myself for not installing the pad when I first got it. I'm not one to write reviews, but I had to come back on here 2 years later and yell from the mountaintops how amazing this gel pad is! Save yourself the several hundred dollars it would cost to get a cushy replacement seat and just get this gel pad instead! We have now bought one for hubby's Vulcan because he was having butt soreness issues by day 3. I'll be riding much, much more now because of my cushy butt pad!

Comfortable, looks stock
This was purchased for a Honda NC 700. The stock seat was a little thin, so the time in the saddle was limited. This cushion went on easily, with only a few steps required to loosen the seat screws. Stays in place well and has doubled my saddle time for comfort. It does not look like an add-on.

Order the one with the weather cover
*****08/21/23 Update**** Ok, in my initial 1 star review I did say it was nice and comfy, just that it warped/slightly had a "melted" effect is best way can describe (see below). However customer service was fantastic, was offered a refund and informed is a model with a weather resistant cover. So I said would try again with the covered model (again, it is a comfy pad). So 2 days later, it arrived. Same seat pad, BUT...has an attached weather cover in a zippered pocket on the bottom. Cover is nice/reversible I believe (black and silver cover), is elastic fits snug over the pad and well, a very nice seat cover that won't burn your bottom or deform! 4 stars this time as do not know why are 2 models offered, should all have the weather cover. I do recommend the seat pad, the large size is perfect and again comfy. The mounting is solid, does not slide around and IMO, spend the extra 2 bucks and get the model with the included weather cover. Received the seat cushion, test fit and sat on to try it out, was nice and comfy but didn't install for a couple weeks, weather ect.. and unfortunately now past return date. So, in Florida it's gets hot, a nice sunny day, took a ride and bike parked in sun for about 2 hours, when got back to bike the cover/cushion was looking "crusty", slightly fading, and could easily see the honeycomb pattern of the gel through the cover. It was scorching hot to point could not sit on it even after a few miles down the road, it holds heat. Next day after it had been parked in garage and cooled off, one corner was wrinkled and again, best way can put it, crusty. Like melted then cooled rubber/plastic would look. Biggest issue is now my leather seat has a honeycomb pattern burned/etched on it. If you have a decent seat, leather seat, basically a nice seat - DO NOT USE THIS. If have a torn, old, or not a very nice seat that want to cover up and make comfy, better options out there. I'm now out $40 with my used to be nice leather seat now having a sun etched honeycomb pattern.

Did the job!
I have a 2020 Heritage soft tail, you think the seat would be broken in by now. So I looked into getting a Gel seat, since I knew I was had a 1400 mile ride ahead of me. $795 through Harley seemed a little bit out of reach. So I gave this Gel seat a shot! It was a comfy ride from beginning to end I was impressed!! I personally liked that it raised me up about an inch. So overall, a win-win!

AWESOME, BUT ALTERS DRIVING FEELING (My Point of View)
BIKE: 2016 Suzuki V-Strom 650 ABS DRIVER: Man, 60 yo, 100 kg, 1.76 m INSTALLATION: Kind of tricky. But that's ok... after various attempts I finally got it done. COMFORT: Does its job 100%, I really can't argue with that. The seat cushion stays firm, doesn't slide, and you don't have to keep adjusting it. No matter what position you put it in, it stays there. MY MAIN WORRY: It's like sitting on a bubble. I can't explain it..., but it changes the driving feeling. The bike feels weird, it loses "driving precision". I guess when your butt is firmly seated on the original seat, the body movement is transmitted in coordination with the bike (arms, legs, body mass, etc.). But if the body is sitting on a "bubble" that changes everything. However I guess it's just lack of habit... I've only tried it once in a 4 hr ride. I'll try it more on future rides, and if I definitely don't like it, I'll just take it off (something you can't do if you modify the original seat by upholstery work, which cannot be undone!!!). It would be a shame, because the discomfort disappears completely when using this seat cushion. On the other hand, I wouldn't say that this opinion makes the product bad. But my point is definitely something to consider. Not feeling secure driving a bike is dangerous!! So for this reason I’m giving it 3*

Buy this!
So with the price. My butt doesn’t hurt as bad on our longer motorcycle trips. It’s thick, seems to be durable, and super easy to install. Much easier and cheaper than buying a brand new motorcycle seat. I ended up purchasing a second one for my husbands bike as well.

It was an improvement on my comfort.
I bought this because after a non stop hour of riding my SCL500, my rear would get kinda sore and numb. The price was better than some other offerings. Its a good fit on my seat and as soft as a gel pad is expected to be. It does offer good comfort and I don't get any soreness anymore after long rides.

Eases saddle soreness and makes longer trips more enjoyable
I have had this on for a few weeks. I have noticed great improvements in seat comfort. I rode to visit family recently 130 miles one way and I felt good the whole way. The stock seat used to wear me out and make me sore after 40 miles or about an hr. This cushion allowed me to enjoy a nice country ride for 3 1/2 hrs one day on back country roads and a little highway. only stopping once for restroom/gas. I never felt uncomfortable due to seat, just standard rider stiffness on long trips. Today it rained while I was at work. About 1/2 inch... not major, but enough to soak the seat. When I got on to ride home, about 2 hrs after the rain. I was surprised seat cushion was dry. My pants had ZERO wetness after riding home. I did not have the waterproof cover on. Just the seat cushion. Its design dosen't absorb water and allows water to drain. I was happy. This is a must have for anyone who has seat pain/discomfort when riding. It's so much cheaper than a new seat. And transfers to other bikes, auto, work chairs. If needed. I'm considering a 2nd one to have as a seat cushion for "public seating" that may not be the most comfy. Sporting events, bleachers, folding chairs, ect.
