Bought as we have a beetle exactly the same model in our family. Didn't realize it was a kit though.

A bit fiddly for old fingers but a great kit none the less, wish I had one years ago!

You MUST CLEARLY STATE it in your description that this is not a ready made model but a kit that the customer has to assemble from hundreds of pieces, and it IS NOT in blue colour as the picture shows but in plain white, which has to be painted or decorated by the customer. This way it is totally incorrect towards us. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this seller. The item arrived in intact packaging, on time.

Love the attention to detail by Tamiya. True to scale. These are not 'entry level' models, but not so difficult that the fun of assembly is lost. You pay more for quality.
