I had pretty major surgery and had some gnarly looking scars. A friend told me about these so I figured it was worth a try. I love them. My scars are so much more healed than they should be at their age. My major one you can't even see most of the time. Word of warning. If you are going to do something that will cause sweating, just take them off before hand. I've lost a patch or two at the gym.

At only one month post surgery all my scars are laying flat and are no longer red but are white and (thenmost recent ones) are only light pink. Useing these patches after each of my 4 wrist surgerys.... I have had great experience with them. I do not use them nightly though as instructed. I put them on and keep them on until I can't stand due to itchiness from my hairs or they fall off because I wasn't carful enough. That is usually about 5 days. I then wash them with dish soap and let them dry and get sticky again and do the process all over with about a 2 day break in-between. Box will sometimes be crushed but with no damage to the patches.

I really like that this set comes in different sizes pre-cut so it makes it easy to apply to existing scars depending on its size. I noticed that if you’re consistent, it does work so you just have to be consistent and be patient. I noticed slight itchiness while using it, but eventually, my skin got used to it. It has helped flatten a keloid scar on my arm. It is now barely visible and only slightly pink. I’d say it took about 30 days of continuous application before my scar was completely healed.

I have a scar on the bridge of my nose that I used them on. They are easy to cut to any size. I haven’t noticed much of a change in the scar. I have used the patch constantly for about 2 months. There might be a better product for facial scars??

I’ve been using Scar Away for years and it works. It does not hold as well as Mepitac Silicone tape (I also use that and it was recommended to by my Dr. I alternate the two! Yes scar away is pricy if that’s an issue get the roll of Mepitac which os a great deal. I’m sad Scar Away discontinued their clear discs. They were awesome for small scars!

WORKS very well, but ONLY IF you follow directions that it must be worn for at least 12 hrs daily ..for several months. Not difficult to do because you aren't aware that you even have one on. It functions and feels as if its your own skin. Plus they are reusable -but only if you follow directions for washing them gently.

My daughter has a scar on her face from stitches and these were recommended by our pediatrician and they are breaking down the scar tissue and slowly making the scar less visible.
