This is a metric tool so of course if you use outdated imperial bits in a metric tool it's not going to work as intended. Using metric bits this works flawlessly and the hardened steel guides in the drill guides mean it will last a long time.

My first dowel tool/job. The Dowelmaster works great, just read the instructions and take your time. BTY 8mm is exactly the same as 5/16 SAE. The You Tube videos are helpful, and the narrator Great!

A very useful tool

I just receive my order after 16 days from time shipping notice. I put to use immediately because I was waiting with my project for this Dowel-master. It is very good if you use at your branch or other place where you have easy access but in my project that was not the case. I try to use this in narrow 7 inch space. What was difficult to do the job with this when you almost don't have space for cordless drill. So it is OK but all depend how much space you have to work with.

Great product. Just wish it was english not metric, but I can work with it. Hard to find metric dowels in the U.S.

Per chi come me si diletta a disegnare e costruire i propri mobili, sapete benissimo che il momento più frustrante è sempre lo stesso: centrare le spine. Che si tratti di unire fianchi, ripiani o creare giunzioni d'angolo, ho passato ore a misurare, segnare, controllare i millimetri e, puntualmente, una volta su due le giunzioni non combaciavano alla perfezione. Il risultato? Mobili storti o con fessure che ti fanno impazzire. L'Attrezzo che Fa il Lavoro Sporco Ho deciso di investire in questo calibro di spinatura della Wolfcraft, spinto dalla disperazione più che dalla fiducia, e devo dire: finalmente un attrezzo per non impazzire! Il sistema è semplicemente geniale. È progettato per fare tutto in un'unica operazione: Marcatura: Non devi più impazzire con doppi metri e squadre per segnare i centri.
