A Versatile Tool for Sprinkler Head Replacement and More
recently used the WORKPRO Hori Hori Garden Knife for a sprinkler head replacement project, and it’s quickly become one of my go-to gardening tools! This 7" stainless steel blade with a sharp cutting edge and serrated side is a powerhouse for a variety of tasks, including digging, weeding, and, in my case, precisely replacing a sprinkler head. The knife’s sturdy, rust-resistant stainless steel blade made quick work of digging through compacted soil and grass roots around the sprinkler head. Its slightly concave design and pointed tip allowed me to create a clean, precise hole to access the sprinkler system without damaging surrounding turf. The serrated edge was particularly useful for cutting through tough roots that were entangled near the old sprinkler head, making removal a breeze. The blade’s depth markings (in inches and millimeters) were a handy feature, ensuring I dug to the exact depth needed for installing the new sprinkler head. The ergonomic TRP handle is a standout, providing a comfortable, non-slip grip even during extended use. It felt secure in my hand, and the hanging hole at the top made storage simple after the job was done. The included Oxford sheath with belt loops was a nice touch, keeping the knife safely secured and easily accessible while I moved around the yard. The sheath’s snap closure (a step up from Velcro) felt durable and ensured the blade stayed protected.Beyond sprinkler head replacement, this tool excels at weeding, planting, and other gardening tasks. It’s lightweight yet robust, with a double-edged blade that handles everything from slicing through sod to cutting twine. At $19.99, it’s a fantastic value for such a versatile, well-made tool. My only minor critique is that the blade arrived with a slight oily residue, but it wiped off easily and didn’t affect performance.Overall, the WORKPRO Hori Hori Garden Knife made replacing my sprinkler head quick, efficient, and hassle-free. It’s a must-have for any gardener or DIYer tackling irrigation projects or general yard work. Highly recommend

A Handy All-in-One Garden Tool
I’ve been using this Hori Hori knife for digging, cutting roots, and weeding in my garden, and it’s been super useful. The 7-inch stainless steel blade is sharp and sturdy, making it easy to slice through tough soil and small roots. I also like the serrated edge—it works great for cutting through tougher stems or ripping open bags of mulch. The handle feels comfortable and gives me good control. It’s become my go-to tool for all sorts of outdoor jobs, from planting bulbs to clearing weeds.

My new best garden friend!
This is the do-it-all tool for the home gardener! I love the smooth blade, the serrated side, the pointed tip. It’s a really good weight too. It’s got some heft to it. The silicone (?) handle is very grippable, especially with wet hands. And it comes with a very well-made, heavy-duty sheath.

Very sharp and comfortable
I had the nicest Japanese Hori Hori knife the past few years and it had become my number one garden tool for just about everything. Recently I let my husband use it and he broke it in half, trying to use it to dig a hole. He didn't realize how to use a Hori Hori, it's not meant for leverage, it's a cutting tool, he should have cut the hole instead of dig it.So I found this one and the ratings were very high so I thought I would try it. I really like the feel of this one, it has a very comfortable handle that isn't wooden, but it's very sturdy. It feels like the knife is all one piece, with a silicone cover over the handle, and so far I like it. The shape differs from my Japanese one, but the price was good on this and I am happy with it. It cuts well and has the measure marks that I had come to rely on. It fits in my smaller hand a bit more comfortably than my old one.

Green, Mean, Gardening Machine
The WORKPRO Hori Hori Garden Knife is the unsung hero of my yard crew. First off, it looks and feels sturdy — like it could slice through soil, roots, or an overconfident weed with ease. And that green handle? Perfect match with the rest of my green garden tools, so it feels right at home in my tool bag like it was born to be there. It’s sharp, it’s balanced, and it fits this oddly satisfying niche between trowel and dagger. Need to plant bulbs? Done. Cut open mulch bags? Easy. Defend your carrots from squirrels? Not recommended, but it looks like it could.Five stars. It’s got a permanent spot in my garden bag and possibly a spot in my will.
