The Best Modelling Acrylics on the Market
I purchased the Civil War and WW2 Allies sets not because of want of any particular period in history, but because these contained the best diversification of the colours I required.Vallejo are the best acrylics I've used. I think they're intended more towards figure rather than vehicle painting, but I find they work equally well in either category (I don't airbrush and don't know how to airbrush). I have tried the 'Mig Ammo' range of paints, but I found even their non-Air(brush) acrylic colours too watery, and they tended to result in a plastic-sheen effect when dry (even when mixed with Vallejo). The Vallejo range last a long time; these 17ml bottles can be diluted to suit, and provide more of a matt finish when dry (apart from the metal colours, obviously). Although £40 may appear expensive, a pack of 16 works out at about £2.50 a bottle. About the same cost as Mig's paints, and cheaper still than Citadel's range (which are typically 12ml pots). In summary, if you're looking for a decent acrylic paint, then you can't go wrong with Vallejo.

very impressive pack of paints!
what can i say about this paint set? well Vallejo was a brand that ive used quite frequently often & this was down to the thickness & thinness of the paint being absolutely spot on to paint small figurines with, this product proved no different & the end result of each coloured paint once dry is superb, the dropper bottles they come in are very impressive & easy to use which is a nice touch. you can clean your brush with water and get right back to another color without the hassle of cleaners so thats always helpful. friends of mine that are also into painting model figurines and battle items have asked my opinion on these paints and i can honestly say ive recommended, and converted a lot of them once ive shown the application and end result of the paint. the colours are varied in a very good way and the packaging it came in was nicely put together. delivery from this seller was impressive from order time all the way through to being delivered at my door. will certainly buy again

Very useful range of colours for a variety of model genres.
Better value for money than the citadel paints. Gives a lovely even finish. The colour range in this set is very useful for a wide range of model making genres from military to warhammer designs. Excellent starter set for beginners, or for experienced minature painters needing to top up their most frequently used colours after a lock down painting marathon. The packaging is good as the paints don't dry out easily if not used for a while. A staple for every enthusiast's kit.
