IK MultimediaTONEX Capture all-in-one DI box, reamp box, and Tone Model creation system

It’s great. Not so easy to navigate.But it’s well worth learning how to use it.Amp models are awesome. Quality of sound is amazing. Sturdy. Fantastic quality overall. I found excellent tones to work with.Tonex rocks. Well worth the money.

If you have every wanted to play through a certain amp or stack, this is your pedal. On top of the amp, cab, stack, and distortion pedal models that come with it direct from IK, using the ToneX prgram and ToneNet in it, you also have access to any model that users from around the world have shared, that the captured from their own rig using the IK CasptureX. Then you can further dial in your tone using a set of 5 knobs that are dual use, one bank for eq, the second for dialing in things like depth, reverb, compression, etc. There are also 3 endless encoders which allow for even further sound refinement and to save your settings as a preset.

The captures provided on the pedal are useable and access to tone.net provides many quality captures. Unit shipped from ikMultimedia and was basically new in box! I am very happy with the purchase

Done with IK. Gave them a last chance and they proved they make lousy products. Held off a year before buying, because of the hype. Forget their amplitube crap.No matter what you do with trying to eliminate a certain high pitch frequency, its Always there. Its just part of the unit circuitry and algorithm. The only way to reduce it is either pre or post EQ outside the unit.Its definitely None of my equipment, All my other stuff doesn't have this issue.Ive got a charvel and ltd, with seymour Ds.I have an isolated power supply. A new usb cable, with filters. The best industry IRs.Nothing improves it, Its just the product.I knew I should have spent a few more for quality, with Kemper.Done with IK. All just hype and product endorsements.

This is a great amp modeler. Catch your own or use the models on the pedal or from the TONEX community. The possibilities are endless.

The media could not be loaded.  So I will start by saying that this is a neat pedal overall due to the versatility it offers in one relatively small pedal, as opposed to a full pedalboard. Being someone who chases tone though, I will likely stick to my analog pedalboard.I am only scratching the surface of this pedal, so maybe my sentiment may change over time. I feel like it is not the most intuitive pedal because I was switching between amp types, and often would have it kick back on me to a different amp. I eventually got it to Plexi somehow and played around with it some (see video).It does create a nice tone for a digital pedal. However, as someone using a full analog pedal chain including a Klone, Bluesbreaker, and Tube Screamer as my primary chain, I can hear the digitization from this pedal still slightly.Really though, I feel like the price and the lack of intuitiveness are what keep me from giving this a higher score. I also have a Fender Mustang Micro which is much cheaper, a much smaller package, easier to use, and to my ear a little less digital sounding.It really depends though on what you are seeking out of a pedal. If you want a pedal that can dial in almost any famous amp, albeit a little digital, this may be for you.

I like this hardware IK Multimedia TONEX pedal. This hardware is good quality built and fantastic quality presets and sounds of all its amp models and cabs. I could not notice any big difference to the sound quality with the more expensive ones. That's my travel music machine all around the globe.All I need is my guitar and some cables and I am ready to rock n' roll. Looking forward to the next model. Thank you IK Multimedia for this hardware product and keeping it reasonably priced.The only problem I have with the TONEX is the their lack of software creativity. The software editor still sees my pedal OFFLINE even when everything else is working ok. I guess their software programmers don't know hoe to fix their own software bugs.

I just received my Tonex today and the box did not include the serial number card to register the pedal/ get access to the software. There were also no instructions in the box.Ikmultimedia doesn’t have a support number to call, so I’m currently waiting on a email response with no luck so far. I will give them a few more days.Update- after about four days Ikmultimedia emailed me my serial number. The Tonex pedal is very well built and the stock pre sets sound amazing. It’s weird but the Tonex pedal sounds much better than using the software on my Mac with the same headphones. I feel this pedal is a pretty great value when you consider that the amp models sound better than the Kemper, it’s an audio interface, it comes with Tonex Max and Amplitude 5 software. I use this with a boost pedal and a delay but I also ended up ordering a GP200 on sale and will put the Tonex in its effects loop for aBetter effects solution with the amazing amp and cab models of the Tonex. It would have been nice if the pedal had more effects options but over all I would highly recommend because the amp models and cabs sound amazing. I probably should have removed a star for the lack of effects and missing my serial number card in the box, however it’s a great value, well built and sounds amazing so 5 stars for bringing this to market at this price point

I was very sceptical about going in to digital devices since I was very narrow minded and I was thinking that only real tube amps can give you what you want. After a couple of weeks having this product I completely changed my mind. Give it a try,you might change your mind too 😉

Je suis vraiment inpression pas le son de cette pédale !Je l'utilise aussi bien sur mon ampli a lampe dans la boucle ou sur un petit ampli de puissance 150w avec 2 Hp 120w hifi !Je les tester sur plusieurs supports et faudra changer les réglages pour chaque support mais vu le monbre de bank c'est pas le problème.Par contre la différence de volume entre les clean et les higain sont vraiment abusé....Vraiment attention a mettre les volumes des bank saturé sur 1 ou 2 avant de les tester....Mais une fois la 1er oreille perdu lol on fait attention lol... Il devrait inversé les volumes...( Réglages volume général et volume piste)On verra avec les mise à jour j'espèreSinon la qualité et tellement Bon que sa conpence vraiment.

Dopo un attento studio dei vari modeler in commercio ho scelto questo Ikmultimedia Tonex perché avevo bisogno per il mio studietto casalingo di amplificatori per chitarra realistici e fedeli ma senza investire grosse cifre. Questo Pedale mi da la possibilità di avere 50 Ampli veri che posso regolare a mio piacimento con risultati a dir poco straordinari. Inoltre grazie all’offerta natalizia di ikmultimedia ho potuto con l’acquisto di TONEX, avere gratis i favolosi amplificatori Dumble compresi nella libreria di ampli mostruosa che viene messa a disposizione con TONEX. Questo pedale ha migliorato in maniera sorprendente il suono delle mie chitarre ed ho appena cominciato ad usarlo. Se consideriamo che Amazon oltre ad un prezzo eccezionale forse il migliore del mercato per questo prodotto è riuscita a consegnarmelo in due giorni prima di Natale le 5 stelle sono d’obbligo.
