Land Rover 90 • 110 • Defender Workshop Manual (from 1983-1995 MY) Owners Edition

Not until seeing the inside front cover did we know that the manual covers Nearly Up To End 1995, but not quite as the 300TDI engine fitted at end of 95 is not in that manual, which is referred to inside front cover, but Not in the Item Description! So we bought another manual covering 96/97/98 with that engine's details. However, for any other Landy owners it IS a good manual, but shame we didn't know the engine in ours was not included in the age range to 1995!!!

Excellent addition to any Land Rover library

As somebody else has said, not the Bible, but a good manual, to integrate with other texts. The illustrations are good, though not up to those of my mythical Matchless 41 G3L User & Maintenance Manual. A bad defect of reproduction on page 208 (Fig.12: 5 Wiring Diagram, all models from 1986) makes the schema difficult to read, so I struggled a bit to locate this diagram as the one that corresponds to my 200 Tdi 110 PU HC of 1991 and not that in Fig.12: 3 (early 2.5-liter diesels), as also indicated by various sources (Haynes among others). A great book with very detailed information and diagrams. Perfect for supporting us to work on and maintain a vehicle. Includes everything we have needed to know.

only bought this for engine details as i have a 2.5 petrol in 1972 lightweight but once you get a land rover they all become interesting (landy lovers will understand) i just like seeing how things were improved or not ???

I like lots of pictures and I prefer drawings which this has in abundance. I'm no mechanic but this book has helped me to keep my 90 in good shape. Bravo!

For anyone who has a Land Rover Defender or plans of working on a Land Rover Defender this is a must. This is a very comprehensive manual with plenty of detailed schematics and illustrations. It really helped me with the replacement of an input shaft bearing. There are plenty of sources for information on these vehicles online but it is fantastic to have them all in one place. Especially if you find yourself having to troubleshoot or repair things on the fly out on the trail.

Ein sehr gutes Nachschlagewerk für jeden Landrover Besitzer :- ) Ich als Anfänger hab hier viele nützliche Infos gefunden und schon das ein oder andere auf Basis des Buchs instandgesetzt.
