I needed to get another battery for the lawn mower as a spare brilliant

The media could not be loaded. I have had 2 x 18v 5ah batteries fail just after 3 years from Briggs and Stratton. The replacement at £87 is just not holding charge and I cannot get any support from Amazon or Briggs and Stratton - they just send me round in an endless loop. I’m ready for throwing it all away. The tools are great but batteries are expensive and have a short lifespan for something that is used only half the year for domestic use.I can only upload one video but when I put it on the charger it counts up like it’s charged, I take it out and it immediately discharges. In the power tool it doesn’t work.

There are cheaper batteries around but they do not fit my Murray cordless Blower/Vac. The advert did not indicate specifically that two batteries were required and that a specific charger was required. All the parts are quite sturdy but it is too soon to comment on their battery life.

Bought this as a second battery, and am extremely disappointed - the battery is clearly not new - display is scratched, marks all over, etc. In fact, my 3 yr old battery looks better! I don't believe customer returns should be passed on as full price brand new product, particularly at £87 price tag ...
