Great multifunctional tool!

Fantastic tool for stripping fp200 and other round cables doesn't damage the inner cores like side cutters. Can strip fire cables in tight spaces with ease

I had a different version of this tool that was just a single function sheath stripper but I lost it, this replacement is a big step up. This tool cuts sheath nicly and I have used it on 2 & 4 core fp 200 cable and mains flex it really dose work well. I even used the side mounted inner core strippers and found them very impressive I only got my cutter out to trim length and put on screen sheath every other cable dressing job I did with this tool. Only things I have not used is the retractable blade and the sheath splitter that you run down the cable. I have the round cable version I can not comment on the flat t&e version.

I didn't really want to buy this because having worked as an electrician for many years I have an abundance of tools for stripping cables but decided I'd try it because it allows you to strip the outer sheath tidly and quite short in an enclosure whereas other tools seem to do one or the other. The price is a bit high for what is basically a piece of moulded plastic BUT it has proven to be really useful and works well. Begrudgingly I wish I'd bought one a long time ago. Only three stars because it's been very useful but it's expensive for what it is.

It is a great tool for any sparky,mainly if you do DB's or panels it will make the stripping of the cables much easier then using a cutter!I have used my one for a couple of months now and still works apart from the fact that the tip of the tiny blade which cuts the cable inside the tool is not as it was at the beginning,because I believe that a tiny bit of the tip broke off.All in all great little tool and if it would be a bit cheaper I would say it is a must have!

Pricey but does the job well; especially useful for stripping small diameter, multi-strand cables where you'd likely damage the conductor if you stripped with pliers

I bought this product to strip FP cable with the foil inner which is really hard to strip just use the round blade to ring the cable and place the cable and then feed the cable through the angled hole then pull down to cut through the outer insulation without cutting the cores. This is much safer than the the jokari stripper with the wheel on the bottom. This also is great for all sizes of flex as shown.
