Silverline Sheet Metal Clamps 250mm (633638)

I'm extremely pleased with the Silverline Sheet Metal Clamps 250mm (633638)! They worked perfectly for my intended purpose. Using to assist in rocker assembly on classic motor cycle (BSA 10). Good quality, well made item and bargin price. Should be useful for other projects, ideal to have in toolbox

I purchased a pair of these a number of weeks back and have been using them constantly since. They are cheap, robust, can takeas much pressure as a rugular pair of 'vice grip' pliars but at a fraction of the cost and I would purchase again. A small point is the jaws on either side are not perfectly aligned and need a slight tip with something like a chipping hammer to line up correctly, however this is not a major flaw if your measuring twice and cutting once. They are my go to tools for all my fabrication work.

While not of the best quality it did get the job done. The jaws are misaligned and have some lateral movement which means you can get them lined up to make the bend. Reasonable value for the price and are ok for DIY use.

These clamps are so cheap it seems churlish to criticise. They have a solid feel and I’m sure they’ll do the job. I’m intending to use them to bend some 1mm aluminium sheet, so it should be easy enough with these.
