Used for storing flour and dry goods
I am very pleased with the quality of these buckets for storing my bread making flour and other dry goods. They have a strong seal but are flexible enough not to crack on repeated opening and closing. They are a great price compared to buying other storage solutions and I was able to squeeze 7kg of flour into each bucket. I split a couple of 16kg sacks of flour between them as I was sharing the purchase with a friend so these enabled me to transport the flour without any mess. They will save me a lot of money as they are reusable and make buying in bulk much cheaper as opposed to buying smaller bags of flour etc.

Ideal for honey
I thought these buckets looked pretty robust on arrival and having now use them to harvest and store honey I've been impressed. I fill them to about 1 1/2" below the top. With the lids on I'm able to carry and move them with no problems. With the lid off I'm able to raise the bucket to head height and pour the honey into a strainerr. Theres an odd lookiking lid locking mechanism on the side of the bucket that you push in tto get to the edge of the lid to open it. The mechanism doesn't break when you do this which means you can be reusing the same buckets for a long time. I'll be reusing these bucket for a few years and I'm actually going to order some more of these to standardise on.in my extraction room.

Fairly decent
One out of ten don't close air tight the seal is only 80% of the way round think probably caused by the packing bending the lid out of shape. Others are great and do what they should.

Perfect for my needs.
I brought these for wine making as my primary demijohns kept over flowing. These work really well. It was easy to drill a hole in the top for bungs and airlock. People have said the lids are tight and dont fit properly in my opinion they are tight and need to put some pressure around the edge to click in to place, so again in my opinion they have a perfect tight fit. Can not fault perfect for my needs and no more overflowing. I will buy again when I need more.

CHECK THE LIDS
LIDS DONT FIT. Imagine looking around B and Q, Wickes, Screwfix and Halfords and no one having having a plastic bucket that needs a lid to shut. So giving up go on to amazon for buckets with lids. Stick stickers on 3, cover them with tinsel make them all pretty and gift 2 to the teacher. A month later start filling the third bucket full of toys like you needed them to only to find out the BLOODY LIDS DONT FIT. A month on and already gifted 2 to a teacher WHO NEEDS THE LID TO FIT and now they are no better than the buckets without lids I'd seen in every shop but werent suitable. As you get one edge to click down the other edge pulls up again in a never ending circle. Customers check them as soon as they are delivered or you might as well have gone for the lidless version. Dont seal.
