Damp rid is the only thing that keeps my basement from smelling like a basement. It gets rid of the unpleasant humid basement air and allow my plug in to do their job. The buckets last for a very long time and one bucket is enough to keep my basement free of humidity.

Great product. Takes the smell of damp out of the air. Holds a lot of moisture. The bigger the tub the longer you go between changes.

We had some water damage due to our new washing machine spitting a bunch of water all over the floor while we were not home, it is one of those new ones that are not made to last like the old ones did. Some carpet got wet so we pulled up some of the water with a shop vac but with the Florida heat the next day it smelt funky 🤢 I’ve used this brand in smaller containers before in closets and storage and it really fills up with water well so I decided to give these big ones a try. They did a great job getting rid of the smell pretty quickly and a bunch of water left in the air thankfully! I will be buying more of these in the future for sure. Thank you!

I had (key word “had”) a musty smelling basement until a friend of mine told me about DampRid. I put a bucket in my basement, opened the lid and was skeptical to see if it would actually work. I entered the basement the next day and I could barely smell any mustiness. After two days, the smell in the room was gone! The air smelled fresh and clean. I don’t know how it works but it definitely does work. I recommend if you have a smell issue anywhere, give this product a shot. I’m thrilled.
