I have previously bought several of these lights, of different sizes, to install within my house, to reduce my energy bills. They look neat, when illuminated, and fairly unobtrusive, when switched off. The latest four smaller ones, have been installed in my small workshop, and give an even spread of light. Being a tad photophobic, I prefer the warm light version, to the daylight white ones. The mounting bracket is a separate item, which makes it easy to secure to the ceiling or wall. The body of the light is then secured to the mounting bracket, by two spring loads catches, making the light easy to attach and remove, if needed. Personally, I do not like these modern push-fit connectors, preferring a proper screw terminal. They are better suited for solid strand wires, not multi-strand ones. However, others might find them easier to install. This connector block has 2 x Live and 2 x Neutral holes, allowing you to connect several of them in-line, as I have. But the cover that also clamps the wires, doesn't allow much space for two 1.5mm² cables. There is only room to clamp the inner cores, but not the out insulation. The cover that goes over the connector, is secured by two small screws, that are not the captive type, and can easily drop out. This can be very annoying when you are up a ladder, when fitting them. Overall, I'm very satisfied with these LED light units, and can recommend both the product, and the Seller.

So, I am relatively handy at DIY but never less am female and sadly now very middle-aged! I had a previous light that lasted just over 3 years on balance I think the old model was easier to fit but maybe my memory deceives me. The wiring is a doddle in theory but I found the buttons you had to press just a bit too far from the edge of the light to enable me to press and hold the fitting with one end and thread the wire in with the other. I did get there in the end and boy was I glad that it worked when I switched it on because I couldn't face going through that again. I guess a doddle if you have larger hands or two of you. Once fitted it is a very bright light and if it lasts another 3 years the effort will have been worth it.

I'm an electrician and I've fitted many of these cheap LED bathroom lights. Every time I buy one it seems to be from a different manufacturer and they are usually not the best (You get what you pay for) I thought I'd review this one because the quality seems higher than usual. It feels a bit sturdier, is easy to fit and connect, and has a great light level for a standard bathroom. My only slight niggle is that if the ceiling isn't perfectly flat and level the fitting won't clip on to the ceiling bracket. The one I've just installed was on an artex ceiling, so I had to put some thin packers behind the between the bracket and the ceiling so that the light would clip on. A very minor problem that took a couple of minutes to sort. Just hoping the customer doesn't ring me in a few months to say that it's packed up.

Identical in construction to the smaller 100 watt equivalent one I installed last weekend, well made and very easy to install. Just turn power off to lights, screw the included metal mounting bracket to the ceiling, squeeze 'button' on electrical connector and insert live and neutral wires (releasing the button locks wires in place, just check they are firmly in place). Screw cover over connector and attach light to the metal bracket by pulling back on two sprung handles. That's it. This 200 watt unit is incredibly bright, almost too bright for our modest sized kitchen. Looking up feels like staring at the sun! Quality of construction is excellent. Only minor niggle is that due to tight tolerance attaching unit to metal bracket can take a bit of fiddling, but it's something you'll rarely need to do. There is no user replaceable 'bulb' and the unit should last many years.

The light is nice and lit the hallway much nicer than my old fixture which burnt out those small global bulbs every month. There are a few things to care for when installing. It took about 10 minutes from start to finish, and I offer these steps to help you do so too. 1. Have a separate light source so you can see what you are doing. 2. Make sure there is at least 4 inches of source black/white wiring to be able to work it in place 3. Do not use the 3 felt feet as it puts a space between the fixture and the ceiling and it wont catch the bracket. I removed the old fixture and pulled the black/white wires out as long as possible. I removed the wire cover from the new light, and the mounting plate too I then used the 2 screws that provided to attach the plate to the existing mounting bracket inside the existing fixture. Make sure the new bracket sits flush to the ceiling and doesn't creep into the hole, else the flanges do not stick out enough and won't catch on the light. I attached the new bracket and stuck the wires into the holes (Black = L, white = N). I gave them a tug to be sure they wont come out. ** While now hanging from the ceiling I tested the light. I then put the wire cover back on. I had to use a stubby screw driver since you have very little room to work, but it only took 10 turns or so to get it in. ** Once it's screwed on test the light again!!! Sometimes the wire may come out if you didn't push it in hard enough. Then I lifted the light over one of the bracket clips (I suggest the one that is "closest" to the ceiling hole). If the light cannot "catch" the first clip, then you need to loosen the screw a few turns to allow the bracket to be less flush to the ceiling. Once I got the bracket under one of the clips , I pulled the metal "bracket release" and lifted the other end of the light and push it against the ceiling with some force to ensure it's flat. I then let the catch release go and it grabbed the light... took a few times. The light was then holding nicely and I was done. People complain about the battery cover being hard to put back on. If the wire out of the ceiling is too short then simply put a longer dongle/wire and you should be fine. People also complain about the light not being able to grab the bracket... you cannot use the felt feet and you may have to not tighten the bracket too hard against the ceiling. All in all it took just some care and an extra try or two to get it mounted. A little more effort but for the price it was worth it.

Soms zijn producten gewoon gevaarlijk te noemen. Zo ook deze lamp. De klemmen om het koper van de stroomdraden intern te bevestigen is erg zwak. Bij geringe bewegingen schieten deze al los. Dus lang leven kortsluiting bij deze lamp. Ook het klemmetje met twee schroefjes om de stroomdraden uit het plafond vast te maken aan de lamp is nutteloos. Een gestripte kabel is veel te dun voor de klemmen en zal nooit vast kunnen geklemd worden. Misschien wat isolatie tape om ze dikker te maken? Dus monteer je de lamp, wees extreem voorzichtig dat de draden intern niet los schieten! Mijne gaan gelijk retour helaas. Excuus voor deze negatieve review. Maar soms hoort het erbij.
