A great F1 engineering primer with lots of superb pictures and diagrams. Sometime we just want lots of pictures in a book while others a fine to be 100% text. This with How to build a race car by Adrian N and your set for a while. :)

I'm a fan of all things F1 yet I hesitated on this one for awhile due to the price. Finally bit the bullet, the book came shrink wrapped, the paper is of high quality, the binding is solid. In terms of the insight, there's nothing else quite like it. A whole lot of interesting technical detail covering every aspect of the car that I as a long time fan never knew, explained in layman's terms, with high quality pictures and drawings. Money well spent.

Gostei muito do livro, descreve com detalhe cada parte do carro moderno. O autor resume as maiores inovações antes da era híbrida e mergulha na engenharia dos carros atuais. É explicado o processo de fabricação de peças e a sua função no carro e como as equipes usam o regulamento para desenvolver inovações. Ótima leitura para entender como conceitos teóricos da engenharia são aplicados na prática.
