Get It Right

Great album - a new band on my bucket list!

Después de recibir y escuchar el álbum completo de mi copia en Vinyl debo decir que este álbum vale cada minuto de escucha, estoy súper feliz y emocionado de haberlo comprado como en aquellos memorables años del Hair Metal.Quisiera mencionar que no toda banda de aquella época tiene el privilegio de contar en su alineación con un vocalista que 30 años después pueda cantar a gran nivel y darnos una cátedra de como se canta el verdadero Hard Rock con melodías e increíble sentimiento, algo que por ejemplo ejemplo John Bon Jovi, Mark Slaugther ó Vince Neil NO podrían logran hoy 2023 en un nuevo disco.No sé si este album de Heavens Edge será lo último nuevo que tengamos el privilegio de escuchar, deseara que no fuese así y que mas bien puedan sorprendernos con otro álbum pero si no es así ha sido una gran despedida en su carrera saliendo por la puerta grande!En cuanto a la producción, edición y mezcla ha sido a mi gusto genial, todo se aprecia en su lugar, la bateria suena brutal, las guitarras uffff, vocales y el bajo si que merece un punto alto suena realmente bien aparte que el chico bajista se nota es un crack!En resumidas cuentas este disco debe estar si ó si en nuestra colección jamás pero jamás te vas a arrepentir de adquirirlo.

Liked the self titled debut better

I guess you could call it melodic metal or metal in the style of the 80s and early 90s. It's a solid offering by a band I've never heard of until fairly recently. I know they are older guys, but then many of us who grew up in the 80s are getting old now. But that shouldn't stop us from making and enjoying music. So I hope to see another release from these guys in the future.

25 years between albums. Grunge was big in the early 90's and Heavens Edge faded away like so many other rock bands. Happy this Philly band regrouped and decided to put an album together. Looking at the band you can guess how old they are, but it sounds like a bunch of 20 somethings with drive and musicianship galore. Really impressed with this album (thank you to Eric for turning me onto this album). Now I need to get that 1990 self titled debute. Love to support the smaller bands in the hopes of them making a name for themselves (even decades later). This will easily make my Top 10 list in 2023.Liner notes include band photos, song credits & lyrics.

Heaven's Edge finally releases some new music and it does not disappoint. Most of the songs are in the vein of their debut album and it is melodic hard rock at its best. Mark still has a good voice and Reggie Wu's guitar playing is superb. The standout tunes are "Gone, Gone, Gone", "Nothing Left But Goodbye", "What Could Have Been", "When the Lights God Down" and "Dirty Little Secret". If you are a fan of the band or the genre, give this a listen.

Heavens Edge's latest record Get it Right is a great listen. 10 new tracks from this band from New Jersey gives a fresh spin on a long career in melodic hard rock. These songs are catchy and I find myself singing along after just a single listen. Get it Right is a long time coming, but well worth the wait.

What an amazing return by one of the best bands to come out of the late 80's/early 90's scene. Every track on this album is solid (just like the other 2 albums in their catalog). Hope we don't have to wait too long for another one.
