Inequality and Stratification: Race, Class, and Gender 1st Edition

Clear, concise, broad in both scope and depth. It is obvious that much time and effort went in to polishing the material (not surprising, it is after all the 5th Edition). Pretty much each page gives you ideas to ponder. This book was written as a text to an undergraduate course, and for that purpose it gives a coherent multi-dimensional view of the subject, each chapter suggests relevant websites, and there is a 23 page bibliography.All in all, it gives one a good jumping off point for a serious study of stratification theory.

I'm not for sure about this book. I got it for my daughter for her college classes that she sent me a list of books she needs for the up coming semester in the Summer for her Winter classes. I'm guessing she likes it. She getting good grades in the class and hasn't said anything to me about any problems with the book.

Textbook from for school was much cheaper than the bookstore

Condition was perfect.
