They really do absorb damp. Good quality.
These seem pretty good. They're quite hefty (good thing). Living on a boat, they’ve already gathered quite a bit of damp. And microwaving to ‘recharge’ is great.

Helps reduce moisture in the van—simple and effective
Bought this to reduce condensation and moisture build-up in the van, especially during colder, damp mornings. It’s worked well so far.• Noticeable reduction in fogged windows• No leaks or mess—just place and leave• Reusable after drying, which adds to the value• Slim enough to fit in footwells or behind seatsIf you’re dealing with moisture in a vehicle, this is a low-maintenance fix that does what it claims.

Fog car window.
It does the job but hard to dry it. If you put on radiator it will take two to three days to dry it. Only way to dry it quickly is to put it in microwave for few minutes. There is another option if you have dehumidifier you can dry with it asda.

PINGI car and home dehumidifier bags.
Bought set of 4 dehumidifier bags for car to get rid of condensation on windscreen after cabin filter got blocked. Had to place 3 spread out on the dashboard close to the windscreen. Checked a day or two later no condensation on windscreen. Colour indicator on each dehumidifier bag had changed from blue to pink indicating bag contains water. Haven't had any more condensation issues since, if I do easy enough to pop back in the car.To remove excess water in bag and to turn indicator back to blue from pink put each bag separately on full power in microwave for recommended time of 6 minutes if the dehumidifier indicator hasn't returned fully to blue microwave at 30 second intervals. Bag will be very hot take out of microwave with kitchen tongs and lay them on a towel to cool down. Super pleased with this item when not in use put in bedroom draws to keep clothes fresh.

It works but don't expect it to absorb the ocean
I bought one of these 10 years ago. My experience is that it's not really up to dealing with heavy condensation you may get on the windscreen, especially in the winter. Admittedly I don't keep mine on the dashboard but under the driver's seat. I see it as something to keep damp generally out of the car, and you can see it's worked from the moisture that gets driven out when you put it in the microwave to "recharge" it (i.e. dry it out). I've just order another to keep in the back of the car.A plus point is it's a great hand warmer when it comes out of the microwave (and allowed to cool a bit)!

Needed
Seems to work ok but has been one occasion where it didn’t help could be that it was nearly full as the next day it was pink. Dried it out and it had been ok since
