At this time, I am feeling just a bit sad, I was unaware that these were carried by desertcart, with that lovely free shipping, and that excellent desertcart guarantee. However, it was time to order a few new pieces, and I have just placed a large order with desertcart. These are, first of all, an absolutely glorious color. As I have two other pair that have been washed as appropriate for underwear, I have seen that no fading, shrinkage, or other form of malfeasance has occurred - when washed as is appropriate. By which I will repeat - do a search for a zippered underwear wash bag, and use it, filled with your delicates. Use this while washing them in the newer front-loaders that are capable of handling these delicate products in the gentle manner which they demand, and must receive. I further wash delicate, underwire bras - again with absolutely no issues whatsoever. I would imagine that an agitator-style washer would produce similar results, as long as the underwear bags were in use, and the agitator was capable of a gentle style of movement. I have 4 bags, each containing approximately 9 underwear of various types. I set the washer on cold, Delicate, and use a very low-speed spin cycle, and never, ever subject these items to the dryer. I hang them in the bathroom to dry. Using such methods, you will become bored with these, long before they ever become tatty- looking, even were they to have considerable age on them.. I also only use Wool-ite, or a similarly designed delicates wash soap, along with a high-grade of Downy fabric softener ( Generally quite difficult,to locate, and expensive. However, they can not be beat for protecting and extending the life of your clothing.). ***** I wish to be crystal-clear and stress - all above applies only to my experiences with Vanity Fair, and a few other high-quality brands of delicates. I have no information, and make no comments or claims for other, lower quality brands of delicates. I am 6' tall, 140#, and quite long-waisted, a rather difficult combination to properly fit at times. This style fits me like a glove - no riding-up, no uncomfortable sensation of being either cut in half at the waist, or on the other side hand - feeling that I must constantly tug them higher. They just fit, no VPl, and the fabric is a lovely, high-grade, slinky, silky, beautifully thin, yet seemingly indestructible fabric. The fabric is so light and comfortable that I barely notice that I am wearing it. The fabric gives and stretches as is appropriate. This has a lovely sheen, and such a light hand, that compressing them to a minuscule size for packing is a breeze.This fabric is extremely comfortable, especially during warmer weather, and I have experienced no difficulties with stain removal. I advise using a dash of "Shout", and the stain will be no more. The wide-band of lace in the waist area projects a feel of a high-quality, European style of underwear. I recommend this product. They are more than worth the price, and are recommended as an extremely sturdy, yet very durable and lovely addition to your underwear collection.
