My chiropractor recommended I try this and it helps some. It is meant to be tensioned by someone else so you have to be creative if using it alone. I have a pinched nerve from an osteophyte on one side T1 and gentle traction is indicated. Just enough to pull the weight of my skull off the area but not so much that I involuntarily guard (tighten) while I hold still/rest for awhile. It takes some trial/error to position right. If I fall asleep, I awake with numb ears. I am an engineer and a physician and I sought professional consultation. I am not sure how often the average person will make effective use of this.

Good quality, it is a simple device but really helpful to adjust necks using this particular type of treatment.

I have had a lot of orthopedic issues in the past and I found an online video which suggested using two blah blah and blah blah attached to a blah blah ... .it became very odd after that…I could never imagine making a medical device at home! When I saw this device, I finally understood what they were trying to describe. I feel so much safer using something that is actually made for the intended purpose ! I also have the person to use it on me if I ever get in that shape again. I’m glad to have it just in case… This traction device is well designed, easy to adjusts to the proper size and folds up for easy storage. It also includes a storage bag. Overall a definite 5 Star score. I hope my thoughts and photos help.
