Works great with a learning curve.
The camera takes good pictures. We bought it for our recent trip to Yellowstone and are overall pleased with the pictures. Take time BEFORE your intended use to learn the camera (our biggest mistake). It shoots great video and pictures, but you need to make sure the settings are correct before you start shooting. I love the multi shot setting and the moving object auto-focus for nature shots, but having to redo the settings every time you turn the camera on is very annoying, and caused us to miss several opportunities for great pictures. A save settings function would be fabulous. The panorama and landscape settings also gave us some amazing pictures (I’m sure that had nothing to do with Yellowstone). I love the zoom with image stabilization. A couple of the attached pictures are handheld at 42 power zoom. The zoom works fast in picture mode and slow in video mode. Perfect for normal use. No complaints about image stabilization in either photo or video mode. I love the 1 button video. Great for shooting something before it gets away.Buy the largest SD card you can afford and you won’t regret it. I bought extra batteries after we got back from our trip, and wish I had done it before. The things I would change about the camera are; add manual focus (sometimes it just wouldn’t focus on our subject, especially when zoomed to the max), allow me to save settings for the next time I turn on the camera, and a Bluetooth remote shutter release would be fantastic. With all that said, I realize that this is not a pro model camera, and once you get past the relatively short learning curve, it is an excellent value. If you are looking for an affordable, easy to use camera, and understand the shortcomings, this could be the camera for you.

Great camera, takes great pics!
Bought this camera for a cruise to Norway. Was easy to use for pics and video. It held up well for the trip and getting jostled around. Hopefully another trip soon to use it on. A good buy.

It's a great beginner camera!
It's a great point and click camera! Good zoom, video, battery life. Pet mode kind of sucks, it'll take unfocused photos, and the lens cap falls off easily. Otherwise, I was pleasantly surprised, and would recommend

Love it
I needed another camera for travel that can zoom beyond my expectations. It doesn't have eye view; but the large LCD screen should be enough. The lens doesn't come off or rotate to focus, it's stationary. If you set the settings to auto focus, it should help. Setup was easy, still learning the different settings, but the Kodak camera for me is pretty good.

It’s alright.
I wouldn’t exactly say this camera is terrible because it’s not. I think it’s a great beginner’s camera. It has an incredible zoom in but pictures come out some what blurry. I love the features it has, battery life is long. Although, you drop this camera and every picture you took is gone.

Disappointed...as it is obviously an open box
Bought this for my sister as a gift. I looked at the box, and could see where a tape line/mark is. Opened the box and the accessories are opened and the camera cover is off and rattling in the box. I bought as NEW and was sent an open..possible parts swapped out..unit. Pretty upset about this Will NOT use it. It was opened and returned for some reason.

Easy to take pictures right away.
I like that it can be used without having to learn a bunch of settings. You can of course get the complete manual and learn them if you want. So far that is my only complaint you have to download the manual off the internet.
