Perfect car harness
Love this harness for my 2 small Yorkies it is the perfect blend of comfort, strength, and weight. I already own an expensive Ruffwear crash tested harness however it weighs an absolute ton and is like a straight jacket on my dog- yes it may offer greater protection? but she hates wearing it and the bulk is crazy. I decided to look for an alternative and saw this one which offers the same all metal nesting buckles, robust stitching and comes with a very strong car clip attachment. Most importantly she does not mind wearing it and it can easily be used to walk her if we need to stop off at any point. For the price I thoroughly recommend this product, particularly for smaller breeds.

Great harness
I bought this (after reading the reviews on here) for my 6 month old Westie puppy. He is almost 10kgs. The harness fits just fine and there is still room if he grows a little more. It's easy to put on and he just loves being able to sit on the seat and be safe now when traveling. He was in a little crate before but he started to get travel sick in that. Since using the harness he can now see where he is going he hasn't been sick when traveling. I would highly recommend this harness. It's well made, strong and sturdy. Can be used as a walking harness although we haven't yet used it for that as we use a Halti, which works fine.

Seems fine.
Wanted a crash-tested (and passed) harness for small spaniel. I tried the Sleepypod Clickit Sport first, as it does seem to be the industry’s leading one but despite having read all instructions and watched Sleepypod’s own video, I could not get the adjustments right for the straps around the neck and on a motorway journey I could hear raspy breaths as though it was pressing on his airway. Thankfully was able to stop and remove it very quickly. So, I was then on the hunt for a crash tested one that would not cause the same issue. I discovered three others. After researching I settled on this one. I have only had it a few days but already done a long journey. Obviously (and thankfully) not tested in a crash but it sits well on him (7 kilo puppy) and doesn’t put pressure on his airway. Hope this helps others in making their decision.

Fiddly But Necessary
I opted for a 'small' but a Golden Retriever puppy probably needs a 'medium'. It might soften up with use but for now, it's all a bit stiff. I found the toggles that can be released from the harness a bit fiddly and I'm wondering when I actually try it on said puppy, he's not going to sit long enough for me to fit him in! That said, it's a sturdy piece of kit and from this I imagine it'll do the trick. The material used seems strong and hard-wearing. I think the cost of the item reflects the importance of this kit and is worth spending. Keeping dog safe in his seat in the car is paramount. I probably won't use it for walking just for use in the car for now before going onto a bigger size. FYI There's a video on YouTube which shows you how to use the item which I found useful.

Probably not for sighthounds
I have a 30kg lurcher x bully, deep chested, and this just seemed too small. The straps behind the legs pinched, had no padding and were not vey wide. The metal fittings looked like they were digging in rather than sitting flat. My feeling was in an accident these issues would have caused damage to her ribcage. On the plus side the whole item appeared very robust, and has been crash tested for dogs up to 32kg. Just no good for my fur baby.

Item broke after 4 months' use
This item is adaptable and relatively easy to get on and off. It definitely stops my dog pulling. But 4 months after purchasing, the clasp appears to have started to break - see attached photo. As I am not able to contact the seller because my Amazon 'window' for returns closed at the end of February, the only thing I can do is warn prospective buyers. I cannot recommend this item and also suggest that if you are looking for a harness, you may be better off purchasing from a pet shop where you can take the item back. Very disappointed.

So far so good
This is a good looking dog harness and once I have convinced my dog to put it on - fits her very well. While the fasteners should be fairly simple it took me a while to get my head around which side of the clasp to put through the hole first. While walking I've found my 2 year old lab, who still pulls occasionally, to be fairly reactive to this. Also while thankfully we haven't crash tested this, Kali seems much more secure in the car and comfortable than the previous method of plugging a lead into the seatbelt socket.

Excellent
Great quality. Strong material. Once adjusted it's a very good fit. Very pleased with this after trying several others. We use this mainly in the car and it's easy to get on and off but stays secure when it's on the the dog. We have a strong and bouncy Australian Labradoodle so we've attached it via an Isofix point on the back seat, using a Kong Deluxe seat belt tether which seems safer than attaching to the seatbelt.
