Worth it
Came with everything I needed to replace the hood. Been working well for the past year.

A delightful update in our kitchen.
We needed to replace the fan over the stove as the old one was very noisy and a rather ugly urine yellow color. Since we had updated all our appliances to stainless steel, it was nice to find one that matched. This new fan was priced right, though we did have to watch it awhile before it was available to order, and at a decent price. This unit is beautiful. It's quiet. And it was reasonably easy to put in the exact space where the old fan fit. The hardest part was getting the old one out. I recommend.

Works great
Love this cover and it works like a charm ,but putting it in was not fun and more than 10 min that it said it would take. I need more parts to put it together. It took me two days to finalize the install.

Hood unusable because fan rubs on housing and screws are too short to reach mounting brackets
I just returned this hood for a full refund. It is unusable because of defective installation hardware and because the fan blades rub on the housing. I spent a few hours studying the very poor installation instructions with their inadequate diagrams. I watched a couple of online videos showing how easy installation of this hood should be. This study made it obvious that ten-minute installation by one person working alone was a manufacturer's flight of fantasy. It was fortunate that I worked out all the installation details in my head before trying to attach the hood under the cabinet. The hood proved to be both uninstallable. It would have been unusable even if a way could be found to attach it to the cabinet. The claim is that the hood mounts on special brackets that you attach to the bottom of the cabinet. This seemed like it should be much easier than having to screw the hood directly to the wooden cabinet bottom or to shims attached to the cabinet bottom. Sadly, the design of the hood and the brackets is such that you would need screws two to three times longer than those provided. It would be impossible to screw the hood to the brackets with the hardware in the package. Still, I thought I might be able to buy longer screws at the hardware store. But during all this careful, systematic examination before installation, I discovered that the fan blades rub on the housing as the fan turns. One or two fan blades appeared to be too large, and the fan appeared to be off center in its opening. No adjustment or fix was possible. I will look for a different brand of hood that is properly designed and constructed, like the hood I installed in another house about 40 years ago.

Matches the new stove, but fan is loud
Looks perfect as a replacement of what we had for decades and matches new stove. Priced reasonably. The fan is little loud, but okay.
