I followed the directions to cook the boba pearls. While they cooked, I made two cups of an easy simple syrup with water and brown sugar. When the boba was done, I added the pearls to the syrup (everything was cool), then put them in individual serving baggies and put them in our freezer. Our kiddos can just pull a pack out, put it in hot water for a few minutes, fill a cup with ice & milk then add the boba & syrup. It’s SO delicious, so much healthier and only cost around $1.25 per cup! This is the way we will make boba from now on. I feel better knowing my kids get the treat they love, but with much cleaner and mostly organic ingredients (all other ingredients are organic).

I loved that these were as close to the scratch made boba we love ingredients wise so I gave them a shot. They took a very long time to cook (about an hour total) and had a weird texture. They aren’t chewy at all, they almost feel mushy but then the center is chalky. Flavor is great, ingredients great, but minus two stars for the really unappetizing texture.

Easy to make, pending cooking instructions are followed. Make sure that you follow the cooking instructions, otherwise the boba will end up under cooked and it will end up with a weird texture. If the cooking instructions are followed these are the perfect boba, they taste wonderful, they have the perfect consistency, and they work well for the boba straws. I personally love them alongside some mango star jelly in a mango milk tea.

I really like the flavor of the pearls they just slightly sweet and a good texture however, the pearls are really only good the day you make it. The second day they got very sticky and dry. I will try again but only cook a portion of them at a time and use them that day. Mine cooked in the instant pot. I may have left them in there an extra 10 minutes so I will be more on it next time and see if it improves the texture. All in all, it's nice to find a healthy pearl for tea.

I understand they are better for you, but not so much id eat these again. The texture and taste are bad

Unfortunately won’t be purchasing again. Even with stirring as much as I could without standing there for 40 minutes, the boba syrup caramelized to the bottom of my pot and I had to throw it away. My pot is kinda ruined :/. From what I could taste however, the boba was good and had a nice texture and I love the limited ingredients but may only work as an instant pot recipe.

For the past two years I've tried many different brands of boba pearls and these are the best I have found so far! If you are used to KFT boba these are a little different. KFT boba pearls are more like the 5min quick cook boba that has a ton of preservatives. Better Boba is like the gourmet, fresh boba you will find at Möge Tee and other more high end boba shops. These do take a little longer to cook compared to the 5min boba but the upgrade in flavor, texture, and quality is well worth it! Plus it gives me time to make a fancier fruit tea or a matcha latte to put them into. For the quality it is also a great value. For what 2 boba drinks cost me out I can make 8+ drinks and I feel better afterwards since these don't have all the preservatives and gums that most boba does. I also feel a lot safer knowing this is made in the US.

Phenomenal boba! The instructions were easy to follow and the boba turned out great. I soaked them in brown sugar syrup for a few minutes before adding them to my drink for a little extra sweetness. I love this boba so much and knowing it is gluten free and all natural makes it worth it to me to continue to make my own at home rather than spending so much money buying it from boba shops!
