Fast, easy solution to hemming
I recently tried the Klangfeiler Hemming Tape, and I have to say, I am impressed with how well it works! Here’s a detailed look at my experience with this ironing adhesive tape:Design & Build Quality:This 30-meter roll of hemming tape is generously sized for multiple projects, and the extra strong 60GSM material makes it feel durable and reliable. The tape itself is thin but powerfully adhesive, making it ideal for hemming without the need for a needle and thread. It has a slightly glossy finish on one side, which helps it adhere firmly when you iron it onto fabric.Ease of Use:The application process is super simple. I cut the desired length of tape, place it under the fabric edge, and iron over it for a few seconds. The tape sticks immediately and holds the hem securely, making it a fantastic option for quick repairs or DIY projects without sewing. I used it on curtains, and it was a perfect fit for my needs.Performance & Results:The tape works well on various fabrics, from lightweight cotton to heavier materials like fleece. The adhesive holds up well, even after washing—no peeling or loosening. It creates a neat and crisp hem without the bulkiness of traditional sewing, making it perfect for anyone who wants a fast, clean finish. The 30-meter length is a big plus, as I had more than enough for several projects.Pros:✔ Easy to apply – Just cut, place, and iron!✔ Strong adhesion – The hem stays put even after washing.✔ Great for multiple fabrics – Works on cotton, fleece, and more.✔ Generous 30-meter roll – Enough for many projects.✔ No sewing required – Perfect for quick fixes or beginners.Cons:❌ Could be a little tricky on thick fabrics – While it works well on most materials, very thick fabrics may require a little extra care.❌ Visible edges on some fabrics – If you don’t iron it thoroughly or place it incorrectly, the edges of the tape might show through, so be sure to apply it neatly.Final Thoughts:If you’re looking for a fast, easy solution to hemming without needing a sewing machine or skills, the Klangfeiler Hemming Tape is a fantastic choice. It’s simple to use, holds up well, and works on a variety of fabrics. It’s a great product for quick fixes and DIYers alike, and I will definitely keep this in my crafting kit for future projects!

Sticky tape
I didn’t like it very much very difficult to get off once it’s stuck on anything

Did the job
Did the job perfectly and looks neater than my attempts at sealant. Sticked down without any issues and was able to pull away and press down again when I wasn’t happy with the positioning. The tool that came with it was also very handy!

Great…. But…
Product works well and is easy to use. Good price for the amount you get. Sticks well when you first apply it. However I have just washed the trousers that I hemmed. The majority of the hem has stayed stuck but some has come away. So be prepared to have to re do this potentially after each wash. What I plan on doing is applying more and putting a few stitches in to hold it. Kind of defeats the object but you would need to constantly re apply otherwise.

Fast solution to hemming and small repairs
I bought the Klangfeiler Hemming Tape recently and it works very well. I'd only used another known brand before (wonder web) but this stuff is better, and I'm not good with a needle/thread!You get a generous amount on the roll so it will last you a while. It is quite thing but the adhesive is very strong. I used it to attach 3 sides of a child's blanket that'd separated and after cutting the tape to the right lengths, just put it between the top and bottom sides and ironed over it for a few seconds. It grabs quickly but if you aren't happy with how secure it is, you can always put the iron on for another few seconds. It is perfect too for curtains, trousers and other small jobs you'd otherwise have to sew.The adhesive has held well for a few weeks now, and the items I used it on have been washed several times in a 40' wash and there is no loosening. If you want a fast, clean finish then this hemming tape is perfect.Pros- Easy to apply- Strong grip- Good for various fabrics- Quicker and less faff than sewing- Lots on the roll, good for multiple jobs- Holds after washingCons- Not sure how well it'd hold up on multiple higher degree washes- Not suitable for heavy curtains
