Very nice proofing baskets and works well!I had to buy new one as my last got mouldy so hopefully this one will last a long time 🙂It is build well and bread was more symmetrical than when I haven't used a proofing basket so I'm really happy about that🙂

I think this is one of those items that are not essential to bake good bread, but having it makes a bit of a difference in the final shape of the bread. Easy to use and wash. Great overall.

Very happy with these bannetons. Not used just yet but they appear to be good quality at a very reasonable price.

Prior to purchasing these, I had been baking my loaves either in a standard loaf tin or in a dutch oven and simply proving them in a bowl beforehand.These little baskets are large enough to turn out a good-sized loaf. So far I have only used them with the included fabric liners each time. I am a little nervous about using them without these as I am not sure how easy it would be to clean the basket if any dough got stuck in the cracks.When using the fabric, the loaves turn out beautifully and very easily. The dough simply falls away from the fabric (which I dust first with flour).The loaves themselves still manage to retain the shape and ribbing of the basket although maybe not as strongly as when using the basket without the fabric liner.All in all, I am very happy with these and haven't used anything else since buying them.

I bought these bannetons to use with my 5 quart double dutch Lodge cast iron oven. These are the perfect size. My other bannetons were too large. I use the oven upside down so the loaf goes in the shallow lid and I lift the larger section off and on. Just what I needed. No more water trays or steaming ovens.

Judging by other people's reviews I had mixed expectations, but upon opening all of them were greatly exceeded! I can't believe these are at least half the price of ones I've seen elsewhere and I struggle to think of a way they could be improved. Both basket and liner seem to be well made and of very good quality, and certainly the dimensions I was expecting them to be. I'll note that when I rinsed the liners in boiling water (first salted to disinfect, then a clear rinse), I noticed some of the colour seeping out. I didn't take that to be an issue though and on the second rinse the water was clear. Perhaps I got lucky, who knows?

Product is great , delivery from Royal mail reckon they tried to deliver it on the Saturday which was a absolute lie as I was sat 8 feet away from the door with my grandson on my lap as he was sleeping and there is know way they knocked or rang the doorbell

These are sold as being 25cm. I received two - one is 26cm and the other one is 24cm. Apart from the fact that they are both not what they are described to be they are also very different in size, so you can't use them for two breads of the same size. 2cm difference is just too much. Disappointing.

Avevo un po paura puzzassero...ma niente, nessun odore. Sinceramente non li ho ancora provati ma recupererò questo weekend....Ci si lascia l'impasto crudo in modo da lasciare le venature sul pane. Una volta lievitato si rovescia il contenuto nel forno bollente e si cuoce (naturalmente senza il cestino). Sono così carini che li utilizzerò anche come contenitore del pane affettato a tavola. Sono soddisfatta. Spedizione amazon infallibile (arrivati in anticipo)
