Due to a recent leg fracture, i was in needd of a sock helper to put on my sock on that leg. I've used one of these in the past but no longer had it. Saw this on amazon and it was exactly what I needed. Put the sock on the device and wiggle it with the attached ropes and it slowly moves your sock up your foot and then leg. If you cannot bend over to put socks on, then this is what you need. It's sturdy, easy to use, and does the job!

I've had this for a couple years now and I can't believe how much it has made my mornings easier with my arthritis and hip replacement. Works great, just the right size for my size 12 feet, and built tough as nails. I was concerned that the neoprene part would wear, but after 2 years it's still pristine.Very happy. I'd buy another if I ever lose this one or need a second.

This product is easy to use if you have big socks. I don't mean long, I mean wide of toe. You will stretch your socks to the maximum to fit around the device. This is more difficult the smaller your socks are. Once I found a good brand of socks, this device works super well!

When you have had back, hip, or knee surgery it is no secret that putting on socks is a problem unless you have someone to help. When you don’t or do not want help, this very simple device does a great job on taking care of that problem. I have tried more sophisticated types of aids and many do not work as well as this device works. As they said many years ago, “Sock it to me.”

I got this for my mom who has severe hemo-arthritis (arthritis caused from joint bleeds). One knee does not bend, one elbow has narrowed ROM and the other joints are following similar trends. She still works and needs to dress appropriately, but has trouble putting on her tights/socks. The idea behind assisted devices is give freedom back to individuals who are suffering from health/medical issues that prevent them from performing basic tasks. My mom had difficulty putting her tights onto the sock aid itself. I get that the sock aid needed to accommodate a wide range of people so they designed a "one size fits all" option. I'm not sure if anything could be done about this in the future, but the sock aid was simply too large for her pull her tights onto it using the limited strength she has in her arms. She puts the same tights on her own feet (granted with labored difficulty) using her arms, so it must be a design issue.Once she eventually got the tight on the sock aid she was able to easily get her foot through, but pulling on the straps was the second issue. She simply doesn't have ability to tug and pull on the ropes without causing herself more pain. Again, I am not sure what solution would resolve this issue.Overall, this product did not work for my mom. She may have a type of pain that can't be assisted. I would like to add that there is no return policy, however when you click on Vive it states they use the Amazon return policy which is 30 days. I ordered the product on 2/28, arrived on 3/1 and wanted to return on 3/6, so I contacted Amazon about this strange loop of "ineligible for return". The customer service rep was very helpful and understanding about this situation and provided me with my refund. I will be sending this sock aid to hospice. I'm sure it will help some people, but not my mom. :(

This is NOT meant for medical prescription Compression Socks. They would not even begin to fit over the sleeve. I am sure they would work great for regular socks just NOT for 20-30mmHg Compression Socks

It's the best easy-on Sock Slider I have used. Great Tool
