Looks nice but bad leather that fell apart
The durability of the leather was very weak. I bought this to try out dyes on and it fell apart when I started washing out the color. I knew when buying that the leather may be poor, hence why it was only a test. But for anyone else looking for a good tail go to Etsy. You can find better quality tails for a higher price but it’s worth it. This one was very poor with yellow leather that was falling apart. (( you can part the hair and see inside to test leather )) Otherwise packaging was fine. Color was very close to picture. Don’t buy expecting the same color because no fox pelt looks exactly alike. Also don’t buy if you’re against fur. This is 100% real fur from China.

This was a replacement for my animal loving daughter, and she loves this one more than the original. She even made a special place in her room for it to be displayed as well as taken care of. She made sure to put in a place that our 2 Great Danes cannot access it

Cheaply made
I bought this tail to wear around the renaissance faire to go with the others I had. Sadly the tail fell from the metal clasp - looked to be secured by some form of cheap glue. I tried to take it to a friend and see if there was a way to fix it without gluing it back. She mentioned that whoever tanned the tail did not do it correctly and in order to save it, it would be half the length as before. Now I now to always buy my tails from my rennie friends and not Amazon.

Our cat LOVES it.
We bought this as a cat toy so we removed the keychain portion. Our one cat loves to carry animal tails around like they are his baby. This one was so big we were afraid it would sit in the toy basket unused. Wrong. He LOVES it. It is his "go to" tail.

Very fluffy and a good length
I love this tail I am therian and it works well for clipping on to just about any pair of pants and works very well the tail is quite long really about perfect length for me at 5'6 since it is long enough to see but not bothersome to wear also it's very fluffy and light weight also in terms of other tails it sheds very little even when I first got it and does not have hardly any taxidermy smell like other tails I have gotten so I would very much recommend this product

Don’t waste your money
The positives...the color is beautiful. It is fluffy and long.The negatives....the tail is matted. When you try to get them out the fur comes out in chunks and it sheds everywhere. I feel sorry for the foxes on that “farm”, they had to of been kept in less than acceptable conditions for the tails to be sold in this condition after being collected. Spend a little more and get a decent one.
