I ordered white cheddar and got ranch. They refunded my account within a couple hours and I ordered another white cheddar which came the next morning. DELICIOUS. The other brand I tried was sooo salty you couldn't even taste the cheddar. This is a fine powder that coats the popcorn well and tastes soooo good. I love the smart food popcorn but hate all the kernels, so I buy the tender white popcorn and pop it and add this white cheddar powder and it's even better than the store bought white cheddar popcorn. I will be buying this every time I run out. Yum yum yummy 😍

WHEN POPCORN fills bowl 1/2 way during popping, I give it a sprinkle then top it off once again while all is still warm.The flavor is perfect and comes out fine, blending well - most satisfied.

Great flavors for popcorn, way, way too salty for microwave popcorn. We’ll try it on stovetop popcorn next time, rather than microwave popcorn.

Well it did sort of taste like butter, but it was very salty. I would say that someone who likes salty buttered popcorn will like this, but I have to keep looking for a flavor that works for me. Watkins makes really quality seasonings and I enjoy all their other seasonings.

Really like the way it flavors the popcorn and no msg. Really sticks to it. I’ve never tried one that works this well. Will definitely buy again.

I purchased this product on Aug 4, 2024 . . . and by Jan 4, 2025 it was rancid! Product use by date reflects Jan 31, 2026! In spite of the fact that it is basically refined salt, it obviously has a short shelf life span after opening, due to the other miniscule amounts of ingredients included that do not enhance the performance of (I’ve read other reviewers complain about how the salt does not stick to unbuttered popcorn) or flavor the product in any way. While salt has been used throughout time to extend the shelf life of many foods - this is not one of those foods. Have you ever smelled rancid oil? That is what I get when I smell the product at 5 months after opening. This product contains both canola and sunflower oils. One or both of the oils used in this product are rancid - which leads me to question Watkins on the quality of ingredients going into its products. It tasted and smelled fine just 5 months ago, and I figure I should have gotten another 7 months or so out of this product that I believe was properly stored away from light and heat, right alongside my other spices. Watkins offered no suggested storage guidance on the bottle, so I guessed.I’d also like to mention that when this product was ingestible, it never tasted like butter. It just tasted like highly concentrated salt – but with a much shorter shelf life than salt. I would never recommend this product - but if you do purchase, try refrigerating it after opening. Instead, I would recommend butter flavored coconut oil sprinkled with simple Himalayan salt for a perfect movie theater snack. Try that instead.

Came covered in glue and missing a cap. Luckily I was able to wash whatever it was off It was still sealed but doesn't really have the cheese flavor I was hoping for.
