The parcel arrived via Royal Mail and was received a bit wet and torn, but was still secure inside and well wrapped with bubble wrap. This dish is just what I needed for my lasagna and any other recipes that contains a lot of ingredients, such as a fish dish covered with lots of mashed potatoes. I like the lid that goes with it as this too can be used for smaller meals. The dish is sturdy, nice and shiny clean. A little heavy, so you would have to be careful when adding the extra weight of ingredients and also taking out of the oven. Overall I am really pleased with this lovely dish and I would recommend buying it.

This is a HUGE dish and great for roasting or making large casseroles. It’s great but have taken 1 star off because it is quite difficult to get in and out of the oven with the lid on it, as the handles aren’t very deep so it’s hard to get a firm grip. Other than that, it’s a great dish and you can use the lid as a dish also!

Fit's in our regular size oven without much room to spare on size. Workmanship is top notch as can be expected and glass feels super tough. Big enough to cook for whole family.

Pyrex transparent glass casserole/roasting dish. Great dish, enough big to easily fit a whole chicken, sensible size casserole, lasagne, 20+ chicken drumsticks, etc. Ideal for heating of already cooked dishes and would definitely do the job when serving some dishes. Main, big dish: 4.3 l Smaller dish (cover): 2.2 l Total capacity: 6.5 l It is deemed to be thermal shock resistant up to 300 degrees centigrade due to use of borosilicate glass and should therefore suffice for any kitchen/oven task. Having that in mind though I would not recommend exposig it to "real" thermal shock, i.e taking it out from a fridge and putting it to the oven to reheat something. My last one served me for over 10 years thanks to that rule. This particular one replaced my old Pyrex dish, recently accidentally damaged while transporting it between places. Decent quality from Pyrex. Highly recommended product.

We bought this when we first moved to the UK and needed something to cook chicken in the oven with. Cooking for 4 people we needed something that was a decent size for chicken and potatoes and this was perfect. Easily fits a whole chicken with plenty of space around the edge for potatoes and whatever else you would like to put in and is high enough that the chicken doesnt touch the lid. If you put loose chicken pieces in, it easily has enough space for +-8 chicken thighs or +-4 leg quarters depending on their size. We wash it in the dishwasher and it has got hardly any brown burn spots on it and we have been using it for about a year now and we use it often. Would highly recommend. Solid and heavy so you know its good quality. My folks bought their own one when we moved out and my uncle bought one :)
