As long as you understand that this is a rolled up mesh then it should be ok for your dog as long as your dog is not determined to ignore it, your dog is of a smaller size, and your dog listens to instructions "Do NOT pass this mesh" . It is held in place by two hooks with adhesive tape you can put on a wall, which they themselves do not have the capacity to resist stress...Push the mesh and you can have the hook popping out of the wall.

Lead arrived well packaged and quickly. Surprised at how big the lead was and was very impressed by the quality however my Rottweiler pup (10 months) had a quick chew on it whilst I was putting on my coat. In that time he had managed to go through half the lead so this product is most definitely not chew proof for large breeds with strong jaws. Overall very disappointing esp as previous reviews indicated that the lead was tough as nails where it obviously is not.

I was very unsure when it arrived and thought I had bought the wrong thing. How wrong I was. It is great. I love it and so does my dog. It gives him enough lead to have a good nose about and gives me a good strong hold on him. Unfortunately after 3 months the handle started to come apart and the clip broke. Very disappointed as before that it was great to use.

I own a large, strong dog (50kg Male Alaskan Malamute) and he isn't great on the lead. After the initial excited 10 minutes, he walks quite well, that is until we come across another dog, big or small he wants to kill it, sometimes it's like trying to tame a grizzly bear. I have lots of leads, most of them are flat nylon and they are hard to grip as the slip and cut into the palm of my hand, so I always wear leather palmed weight lifting gloves to help gain extra purchase while at protecting my skin.The Brifield Heavy Duty Nylon Dog Lead is a bit of a godsend, it's chunky construction is not only soft and comfortable to hold but on occasions when I need to control the beast I can get a firm grip on the lead without it slipping and cutting into my hand, it's made walks much more pleasurable. The lead is also quite long so I can let my dog have enough room to rummage and sniff around and I can easily reel him in when I see trouble coming. The lead also has a large loop handle which is comfortable to grip, and the large metal buckle gives me peace of mind knowing that it's not going to give way.Overall, this is a great lead for anyone with a big dog that wants some strong, yet comfortable to use.

Absolutely amazing Customer Service - NOTHING is too much trouble !!I ordered a "large" lead as we have just adopted a Mastiff Cross (rescue dog). She is a big girl so I "erred" on the side of caution and ordered this lead hoping it would be appropriate for her size. It arrived today and it is a little too big in diameter, the length and the clip etc are perfect (the clip is unique - I have never seen a clip like it - I wish all leads had this type of clip ! )I had an email from the supplier checking that I was satisfied with my purchase which is a genuinely nice touch ! Julian, who is the supplier mentioned that if I wasn't happy for any reason, just drop him an email and he would endeavour to resolve any problems. I emailed him earlier and almost directly I got a reply and an offer to replace the lead and this is amazing ... to keep the one I have Free of Charge !I will donate the first lead to our local Dog Rescue Centre (Sunnyside Kennels) as they will make use of it, so a big thank you Julian, it will be appreciated and used for years to come.I wish more suppliers / vendors were as helpful.

We purchased this as temporary measure to prevent our puppy going up the stairs while he was small. Arrived without assembly instructions. The adhesive pads were useless and changed several times and the stitching securing the loops to loop round the hooks frayed and then came away within a week of purchase. This was a real waste of money.

Does not work. Net is flimsy and already ripped. Doesnt stretch out nor covers from ground as theres a gap of about 5 cm between net and floor. Ive only a beagle that doesnt push on it but if youve a dog that would chance it, it would never work. Waste of money

I had high hopes for this one as it was really chunky and nice to hold. Unfortunately our labrador likes to hold his lead in his mouth when out for a walk and this lead lasted 8 weeks before the handle part was no longer woven into the rest of the lead.
