Always a Good Choice to hear the roar of the Tiger
I have used this manufactured brand for many years and own several products with the "tiger" logo. I am always reminded of the title of an old 60's recorded version of "Lulu's" I am a t-i-g-er" it's almost inevitable to recall when I see the logo stamped on my equipment. I already own a music stand, round base mic stand, keyboard bench, audio leads all from this brand, all purchased over a period from this Amazon site. It not through any specific choice or prejudice from any other manufacturer but somehow I seem to be drawn to these particular products through my own specific needs which I always find to be reliable and to my satisfaction. This latest keyboard stand was purchased to replace a much older keyboard stand which is now time for retirement after many years of faithful service. The X-frame is of sturdy quality and the additional security straps are a useful and worthwhile addition at a very modest and almost give away price. There is little other recommendation I can make, other than say that when you make a repeat purchase of a product you have total confidenfidence in, that speaks volumes for itself, and to conclude I will always "keep fighting with the tiger" I naturally have a great love for cats but maybe not quite so large? Good luck and best wishes to all musicians. Regards "Mad about Music"

Great keyboard/piano bench
I was a little worried before ordering it that the seat cushion would either be too soft or too hard but it's perfect and has just the right amount of padding and I find it very comfortable to sit on. It was also very easy to assemble and to attach the seat to the legs and choose the setting I wanted. I didn't need any tools, you simply just unscrew and tighten the spring bolds when they are in the selected position. Takes seconds. For me I have it on the highest setting which is 52cm to the top of the cushion. (I'm 5'5") and find this perfect for my height. Also it's very sturdy and looks great and very professional with my Yamaha keyboard. Great value for money and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Great value. Flexible and portable. Watch out for slipping.
This is a good, sturdy keyboard / digital piano stand. Before making the purchase, I debated between this type of stand and something more fixed (such as the wooden stands with fixed pedals). I decided that an adjustable stand would be best for flexibility and mobility. I don't do much "gigging" but when I do need to play somewhere else, within 5 minutes, I can easily pack away the digital piano with this folding stand and a folding seat and put it all in the car ready to move. I typically use this whilst sat down, so it tends to be set fairly low, but its range is supposed to be between 23cm and 99cm, which is comfortable enough for playing while standing (and I'm 6'1 tall). When seated, the cross bars are quite close to my legs, and with long lanky legs like mine, I occasionally feel like I'm bumping against it. The stand is sturdy enough for a full digital piano and comfortably holds my Casio CDP-120. The stand is deeper than necessary, so if you place a keyboard at the front edge, it will gradually (or rapidly) slip backwards until it hits the rubber grips. After a while, the rubber grips will start to slide off the stand, so be aware of this issue or one day, you may witness your piano disappear from in front of you. Generally, even with a bit of slippage, the stand retains its balance and I know that I could probably prevent any slipping by adding some rubberised tape to the top of the stand, or attach grips or straps on the underside of my piano to hold it in place. So far, I haven't felt it necessary to do that, but the slippage thing appears to be a issue for some people. The locking mechanism is very quick and easy to adjust, and sturdy and reliable when fixed. This may be obvious, but let my stupidity educate you and don't try and adjust the stand while the piano is still on top. I made that mistake once and quickly realised how hard it is to hold up a digital piano whilst yelling for assistance. Lesson learned. Remove the piano, THEN make the change. In summary, this is good value for money, with enough flexibility and mobility for someone who moves their piano around a lot. Just watch the slippage!

A solid substantial stool with plenty of height available.
Tiger PST7-BK keyboard Stool .Although my keyboard stand is pretty standard for home use, I struggled to find a seat high enough. Several of the cheaper offerings provide a maximum of 52 cm but I had to return my first buy because the quoted 52cm actually came out at under 50! Check the height you need and allow for a little compression of the padding. The Tiger stool is a really nicely made solid looking stool with quite a generously sized seat. It will go higher than I need and the second position gives me a height of 54cm after compression which suits my keyboard perfectly. I am finding it comfortable for extended periods. The adjustment system works well and is easy to use, a nice feature being that the pins can be locked solidly with the hand wheels. It is not expensive considering the quality and I recommend it fully.
