Good grip from the clasp mechanism which snaps shut. The clasp holds well when pulled taught. Strong elastic. Easily adjustable elastic lengths: The lengths of elastic are adjustable. You will need to use a small flathead screwdriver to pry open the elastic gripper. To re-clamp the elastic at a preferred length, mind not to hammer on the elastic gripper, but to only press closed with the screwdriver head. Especially if, like I did, you may wish to adjust the lengths a few times. There are teeth on the gripper to hold the elastic. Great product. Great value.

The clips were easy to open and close, they gripped the ironing board cover well, but 3 out of the 4 were a bit too long for my board. I had to take tucks in them, using safety pins, as there is no way they can be shortened otherwise. The result is fine, l just hope that the pins will hold.

I recently purchased these 4 clips to help secure my new ironing board cover to my ironing board. I use a very old ironing board, which has been in the family since the early 1960s. It's very sturdy and as I have an upper limb amputation, it suits my purposes to use, unlike the lightweight aluminium ones you get today, which are fiddly to put up and not very sturdy for my purposes. It's difficult to get a cover to fit the board, as they're either to small or to big. Previously I would get an XL cover and secure it to the board, using duck tape underneath, as it was overly big. This time, I thought I would give these clips a try in the hope. They would be easier to use in securing a large sized cover to the board with only one hand and so far, it has worked. The clips are holding the cover in place, and I can put the board up to use and fold it down when not, without having duck tape sticking to my arm.

Absolutely brilliant item for ensuring that your embroidery is stretched widthways on a wooden scroll frame. Essential item for cross-stitchers. Excellent price too. Haven’t really tried them on an ironing board but I guess they would be good for that too.

Does what it says on the tin I use mine for the ironing board cover but you can use them to hold your sheets in place

Very good value for money , had to shorten one of the clips which was easy as the items didn’t have any way of adjusting but that aside, these could have had a slightly wider elastic but for the price paid they do what they ar meant to do.
