Silicone Roast Chicken Turkey Meat Lifter Sling

Does the job ok, bought it for use in my slow cooker, as meat tends to fall apart after a long slow cook. Better than not having it, but you still need to slide the meat off it before carving and you can get in a bit of a mess if you're not careful. Used it for lamb and it smelt quite strongly even after a wash, was ok after going through the dishwasher.

Works well for roasting a chicken in my slow cooker (pain to get out without this), is slightly too big but tucked the "arms" down so it fit. Makes it easy to remove chicken as long as you don't tilt it, chicken slides off otherwise.

Need to make sure you cover the bird in foil rather than wrap the whole bird as otherwise you defeat the whole purpose....... then place on the sling

Purchased as a stocking filler gift so cannot comment on how effective it is. Certainly looks OK

Used for the first time this week. Was slightly worried it would leave a taste on the food but no such thing happened. Need to tuck arms in as SC lid doesn't close properly but definitely made a quicker job of removing the meat.

Hard to wash meat essence from inner edge of holes, sticks in them!

Clever idea and used it to lift the turkey out of the roasting tin on Christmas day. Will also use it in my slow cooker when cooking a chicken.

Found it great, as it fits in small sc as well as big sc I really like it and gets all the meat out, I done a gammon joint and was dilish mmm
