perfect in its imperfection-- this book would never have been written had it depended on physics or science . there is no mention of curiosity or intuition in the index of any physics book yet physics depends on their existence, to quote any biography of James Clark Maxwell --his guiding philosophy of his life never changed and it was firstly expressed as a child and remained " WHA D GO O THAT" scientists and those with a formal training sometimes feel they must rubbish something which is imperfect at the loss to the remainder of mankind who with their limited education need a book like this desperately to advance them to the next stage .if you have a field of potatoes and you are resolved to only eat the perfectly shaped one you and your family will starve -- however if you regard the field as containing food you will thrive.this is one of the few books I have highlighted many pages for future exploration --it is no wonder it has been translated into 14 languages .you will keep this book it is important and made readable by its enthusiastic author --the belief in a universal energy leaps from the pages .Lynn Taggert is no longer with us and I cannot wish her well -- or maybe Lynn I am wrong in which case well done and thanks. denis buggy

Sheer, enlightening brilliance. For me, Lynne McTaggart can do no wrong. She is thorough in her research, and balanced in her presentation. She writes with optimum integrity and has the respect of millions for having had the courage to break through the glass ceiling of male domination to bring science to the masses in a comprehensible way. I met her briefly once, several years ago, at one of her quantum physics' conferences, and found her delightfully friendly and down to earth. She has retained her femininity and gained increasing respect for her journalistic skills and substantial intellect, in very much a man's world. Additionally, she was the pioneer who started, with her husband, Bryan Hubbard, the iconic, naturopathic magazine called 'What Doctors Don't Tell You'. This is a journal of very helpful natural cures, put together by professionals who are often allopathic doctors with an interest in natural treatments, and the most experienced and successful naturopaths. The tips which this magazine contained helped me to keep my terminally ill mother alive for many years beyond her medical prognosis. So, for me, I owe much to this remarkable lady, who continues to expand awareness in a world still sorely in need of light and spiritual guidance without frills and bells.

The Field on CD
I opted to purchase the Field on CD and I loved every word! What was more for someone like me who knows little of Quantum Physics but am eager to understand it, I found that I understood the book (CD) completely. As a Reiki healer used to receiving and sending distant healing I was thrilled to learn how this is achieved. The book impressed me so much that I am currently ordering extra copies for my family and friends. Everyone should know about this. It should be taught in schools and I hope in time that it will be so that positive thinking will heal our earth and all those who live on it both man and beast. It didn't just change my life, it made sense of things I've pondered fr some time.Thank you Lynne, you did a great job with this book, as well as with The Intention Experiment.

Happy but not delighted
The book arrived quickly. The cover was a bit more damaged than I expected and the book had obviously suffered from being bumped about in someone's bag. There were the remains of a couple of stickers on the front too which wouldn't come off. The corners of some pages had been folded down and as I take very good care of my books this is something I hate. However, it was clean as described (apart from sticker residue). So overall I would say it was in 'good' condition not 'very good' condition.

Really interesting read
I had this book recommended to me by a few people interested in energy healing and similar things. As my husband is into quantum physics I was really interested. The book is sometimes a bit technical but it is so well researched and has so much supporting evidence of the facts it has to be. There are no "magic" answers in this book. It brings the science of the unknown and the science of research together, because is it not true that many unknown things just still need to be discovered or proved?Very thought provoking.

We have arrived
from Arthur C Clarke,"This important book stretches the imagination..we are on the verge of anotherrevolution in our understanding of the universe'and from Dr Wayne Dyer,"One of the most powerful and enlightening books I have ever read. A magnificentjob of presenting the hard evidence for what spiritual masters have been tellingus for centuries..."from the Ecologist,"..one of the most thought-provoking reads of the year"and from Kindred Spirit,"Offers a plausible scientific theory to explain everything from the working ofDNA to homeopathy and ESP"This book will railroad you into the main station of scientific breakthrough andmodern understanding only to find the Buddhists are on the platform with awelcoming committee.

Fascinating - a book to read over and over again.
Some books are a once only read. I have read this several times, with long gaps, and found the life experience gained in between reads helped me to gain even more from it next time around.

Reviewed on Audible already but does not appear to be on here
Didn't come across very well as an audiobook. I kept losing track. This was recommended to me by someone at my Circle. I think in book format I would be able to understand it better
