He is very intelligent and learns tricks very quickly so I wanted to ...
After doing my research and reading plenty of reviews I purchased this puzzle for my 7 month old staffie. He is very intelligent and learns tricks very quickly so I wanted to buy a few puzzles to keep him challenged and stimulate his brain. His first attempt took him around 2 mins and his fourth attempt in 20 seconds. I also have a 6 year old rotty and a pugalier so I thought that I’d test their skill at the puzzle. My big gentle rotty took around 5 mins and completed the game very logically and gently. My pugalier took even longer and I had to help her a little but she got there in the end. The puzzle is very well made, strong and sturdy which needs to be for my staffie as he would demolish it if left alone. I would recommend this for any size and breed of dog of any level as you can make it easier or harder. Although my staffie is a whizz at it he stills loves looking for treats.

Great toy to play with your dog
Good puzzle, the plastic seems tough but could end up with sharp bits if dog is left to chew it. The orange barrels are softer plastic and the hole in the top allow the dog to smell the treats. My Border Collie is not overly food focused he just wants to play fetch so I thought this would be different and get him using his nose more. He loves this game and he got the orange barrels overs straight away. Sliding the pieces took a while and I had to show him a few times to get it. He stuggles to push the pieces away so keeps him engaged and its become our Sunday afternoon play session and its re-enforcing the sit, stay and wait commands for him and makes him work as if he see's where I put it he goes straight to that bit but of course he has to slide the pieces to get to it. I use his normal food with a bit of cheese or chucks of dental sticks to keep him interested.

Well made and fun dog puzzle
Bought this for my dog’s Christmas present. He loves it and it takes him a good amount of time to work it out. Very easy to put together and durable. Really happy with my purchase.

Not as advertised
Bought for my 10 month staffie. The product description says it can’t be knocked over and the dog has to lift it up to uncover the treats. As soon as I set up the game my dog went to sniff the pieces and knocked most of them over just with a light knock of her nose. Pretty useless and not exactly mentally stimulating. However I set up the game for another dog that I look after (an 8year old terrier/jack Russel/bichon frise mutt) and it might be his awful sense of smell but it took him a good hour or two of me showing him where the treats were and showing him that knocking over the pieces uncovered them. So all in all your dogs intelligence + sense of smell and experience with other games will result in how much your pup will get out of this game!

Dog loves it :)
Our dog isn't exactly the smartest cookie going, but he mastered this easily enough & loves it when I get it out & put some of his dry biccies/treats in. At the start he did tend to chew the tall blue 'chess pieces', so they have lovely chew marks on them now, but it's stood up well to him scratching it to try & slide the pieces along. He's a Labrador cross (18kg), so it's a nice size for him - not too small & it's nice & sturdy.

Great fun!
Good fun for my dogs! Although they figured it out pretty quickly. Really durable products, recommended to anyone who wants to mentally challenge their pets. If you have pups like mine they may run off with the tower block parts so watch out!

Good quality and durable
Enjoyed this, takes a while and then it can be set in different ways. Not one to leave unsupervised though.

You can teach an old dog new tricks!
The media could not be loaded. I heard good things about this toy so I thought I would try it with our 10-year old Mini Schnauzer, Charlie. He is a pretty smart dog but has never tried anything like this before. I put little tiny treats under the towers and inside the sliders. After the first couple minutes of sniffing like crazy, and after my son and I showed Charlie what to do a few times, he quickly figured out how to pull the towers off and get those treats, and how to slide the slider to get those treats. We were all very impressed! It is definitely a puzzle for human and dog together (as the directions say) - I wouldn't leave the dog alone with it because the towers smell like the treats and I can imagine the dog would try to eat the towers as well. It was really fun to watch Charlie figure out what to do. This will become one of our frequent toys for him to play with. I highly recommend it!

Trop facile
Jouet de bonne qualité mais trop facile pour un cavalier King Charles qui a compris tout de suite comment faire.
