I bought this SP for my thinning hair which was noticeably losing volume. I mistakenly thought SP was just for men but in my distress thought give it a try. Within less than a week it made a huge difference. I don’t know whether it inhibits the enzyme that shrinks hair follicles or not, but it has definitely affected my hair for the better. My hair just looks fuller and healthier. I’m taking one a day with food and having no ill effects. If anything changes I’ll update because I know how devastating this problem is especially for women!

These capsules are easy to take. This is my first bottle and it is working to control my hair loss. I also combine it with oil.

It works just like my real berries from the sp in my yard. Unfortunately they're only ripe November through February. I do freeze them but they only last me till about May. So I buy this to get me through. I broke open a capsule and tasted it. It does not taste anything like the real thing but it does give the same results. I'm thinking possibly because it's unripened berries possibly. Dunno. Also when taken without food some days you will have stomach upset. Another reason I think these are unripened berries. The real thing never has done that to me on an empty stomach. Hmmmm. I take 1 - 500mg cap once every 3 days or so now so that I don't over do it just in case.
