Helped clean the chamber very well.
Use it to clean out the star chamber in the rifle flawlessly. It has not been so clean from carbon since it was new. Plus they added an adapter to screw into the cleaning rod. Many other suppliers to not add this to the package. This helps the star pad to go into the bore deeply and can be rotated to really clean the star bore. Good stuff.

It does the job of cleaning most of the carbon. I'd buy again.
The pad can spin if you don't tighten enough. But you just have to tighten the nut some more. Does the job of cleaning though.

Better than anything else I've used
The spot it cleans has always bugged me. I never felt I could really get it good and clean, at least not quick. These changed that. Sure it's another thing for the cleaning kit but boy are they worth it. Pair these with the sharp tipped qtips on here and get your stuff pro clean

It's cheaper and does about the same.
It's cheaper, and is about the same quality as more expensive brands. Although it is a little to thicc to spin inside the star chamber. I had to cut it in half to make it spin freely, but it still does the job. Overall, I'm happy enough with this product to give it 5 stars. Cutting it in half just means I now have two pieces instead of one.

Nearly useless
I bought these pads thinking the cleaning rod attachment would keep them tight so you could really scrub the chamber walls and barrel face. Unfortunately this does not work in practice. The pad spins independently of the cleaning rod no matter how tight you make it, so if you apply pressure and turn it just sits there.The only possible use is for cleaning between the locking lugs, since that is a back and forth motion. Even then, it leaves much more fuzz behind than a q-tip.
